Night Games Open Thread
Pretty good day for us, with NU taking out Sparty, Minnesota taking out Iowa, and our win. Not exactly a great night of matchups, but college football is always better than not college football. Some fun ones to watch:
Georgia 24 - Florida 20 (5 to go, Florida has ball on G 35)
Ole Miss at Auburn - 7 - ESPNU
South Carolina at Tennessee - 7:15 - ESPN2
Wisconsin at Ohio State - 8 ESPN
Stanford at USC - 8 - ABC/ESPN3
Clemson at GT - 8 - ESPN3/ABC
As usual, the full listings can be found here
Discuss and enjoy a solid day for us.

That looks like TD to me.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:18 PM ^
How the hell do you leave a guy wide open in the endzone!?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:18 PM ^
Two weeks in a row. What the fudge.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:19 PM ^
Pick 6 for USC to go up 6 with 3 minutes left.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
Wowwwwwwww Andrew Luck pick 6 about 10 seconds after call is confirmed.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
I feel more confident that Denard can move the ball against these Bucks. They will be bailed out here by Wisky, but their defense is suspect.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
where Wisconsin comes back from 10+ down in the 4th and then loses and a lame duck hail mary. now where did I see that.....
October 29th, 2011 at 11:20 PM ^
Derp OSU kicker
October 29th, 2011 at 11:21 PM ^
Big Ten night games on ESPN have been extremely exciting:
Mich v ND, MSU v Wisc, Wisc v OSU
Of course there was also Purdue v ND, Wisc v Neb.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:21 PM ^
Does anyone know how to properly finish a football game anymore?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:22 PM ^
Wisco fans won't be able to deal with hail marys without losing their shit for a long time.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:22 PM ^
Any chance at the game.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:22 PM ^
I'm really impressed that OSU is rushing four here. It makes all the difference in the world.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
is not even close to catchable, it's 5 yards out of bounds
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
That wouldn't negate the face mask, just the PI.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
If Wisconsin would show up BEFORE the last 2 minutes of a game, then they wouldn't need to rapidly claw back and then lose on a Hail Mary.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
...would you interfere?
Jeremy LeSuer tribute w/the facemask.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
I was hoping the circle of schadenfreude would be complete with a Wisconsin win here. MSU lost, Brian Kelly made a stupid ass comment about how you can tell his recruits vs. CW's recruits, and an OSU loss. Oh well.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
Alright Wisconsin, you've got some positive karma stored up. Let's do it
October 29th, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
What the fuck were those Wisky safeties thinking? Don't worry about Braxton...worry about teh effing receiver that waltzed behind you into the endzone all alone! GAH! Ohio State does not deserve such good fortune!
October 29th, 2011 at 11:28 PM ^
Miller is bad, but any QB can complete passes if you completely ignore his receivers.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:37 PM ^
Miller isn't good yet but he's improving. OSU's offense is improving. It sucks that they are going to be a much better team when Michigan faces them than any team that played them earlier this year.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
DEFEND HAIL MARY!
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
shitshow of an OSU team.
We. Will. Beat. Them.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
Son of a bitch.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
I just don't understand the Big Ten anymore.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
Who would have guessed that missing Wiscy this year would have been such a bummer? Some bad luck for them, but that defense is nowhere near what I thought it would have been this year.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
The best part about tOSU-Wisc, is no matter who wins I'm happy. A pissed off tOSU fanbase is great, but a pissed off Bielma is still pretty enjoyable.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Now we need to do our duty and root for Stanford to come back here against USC.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
That was batshit crazy. Really entertaining game. Too bad OSU blocked that punt.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Does this mean Fickell can keep his job?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Meanwhile in LA, USC is winning 34-27 with 2 minutes to go.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
"This event has been blacked out in your area"
ESPN3 seems sadly unaware of my friend firstrowsports.tv
October 29th, 2011 at 11:27 PM ^
Michigan loses to MSU
MSU loses to Nebraska
Nebraska loses to Wisconsin
Wisconsin loses to Ohio State
therefore
Ohio State loses to Michigan?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
It has been proven countless times that the transitive property does not apply to college football.
One example: Michigan beat Notre Dame. Notre Dame beat MSU...and then MSU beat Michigan.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:33 PM ^
We beat notre dame?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:43 PM ^
I didn't use the transitive property and your example supported my silly hypothesis. It's more of a circle of destruction
October 29th, 2011 at 11:28 PM ^
Wisconsin-the opposite of Charlie Sheen. All they do is fail.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:28 PM ^
swarming and slamming Miller and the reporter so no interview could even happen while storming the field for a win over Wisconsin. (some) things seem to have changed quickly down there.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:29 PM ^
Had to watch that game on the big screen at Cedar Point in the midst of many, many TSIO fans.... Fml
October 29th, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
Leaders division champ= penn state?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
When everyone is mediocre and there are no great teams, winning on the road in the Big Ten is a bitch.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
So glad neb and osu are coming to town...
October 29th, 2011 at 11:31 PM ^
Is Tiger Stanford's headcoach after JH?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:31 PM ^
ABC sideline reporter chicks question to Miller was epic..."Braxton, what did you see on that final TD play?".....ummm a guy wide open in the endzone
October 29th, 2011 at 11:31 PM ^
Or another fantastic finish?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:34 PM ^
I kind of want USC to win. I want them caught in that hell where they have a stupid coach, but he pulls off an amazing upset once or twice a year. So they keep the coach around while underachieving in so many other areas. Then the fanbase factures and a massive civil war errupts.
October 29th, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
Are we sure Michigan isn't the best B1G team?
October 29th, 2011 at 11:44 PM ^
Yeah, we're pretty sure.
