Seriously Cutler?
Nice flop.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:19 PM ^
Cutler played soccer during the offseason I see.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:21 PM ^
I am just a step too slow tonight.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:23 PM ^
Just like the Bear's O-Line! Great minds do think alike though.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:24 PM ^
Hey-O!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:19 PM ^
To be a great soccer player.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:24 PM ^
This is the most cobbled up start to a game ever!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
With this D, they could go a long way this year!
Did I notice VandenBosch wearing blood-red contact lenses?! Awesome!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:26 PM ^
And regardless of your affiliation, I've never seen a game start as poorly as this.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
on my end ... just IMO ;)
October 10th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
10 penalties already? This is crazy
October 10th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
Holy crap!1!!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
Megatron.
Thatis all.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
Where did the nickname Megatron come from?
October 10th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
I mean.... look at him.... did you see that graphic?
October 10th, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
That's very surprising considering Randy Moss/Jerry Rice.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
He's more of a physical specimen than Rice, who was a better receiver. Moss was faster but Calvin is a good bit stronger.
I mean compare Calvin, physically, to Lebron James. Lebron is slightly crazier but it's pretty close.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
Oh, sorry, you were talking about the Sports Science piece. I was talking about the 9 TDs in first six games.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:49 PM ^
Jerry has 8 TDs through his first six games...
Then had 14 TDs the next 6. The bar has been set, Megatron.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
"Fellow teammate Roy Williams nicknamed Johnson "Megatron", due to his large hands being similar to that of the towering Decepticon."
October 10th, 2011 at 9:42 PM ^
Roy Williams gave him that name. It is the one positive part of Roy Williams' Detroit legacy.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
Of his NFL legacy.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
You know, other than the draft pick Dallas gave the Lions for him.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
October 10th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
JOHNSON!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
And Megatron transforms the game. Now we're cooking with gas!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:31 PM ^
How the hell do you defend that guy? Merriweather launches to tackle him and CJ gives him the Hoke point and says, "NO."
October 10th, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
That's why the Pats dropped him. He leads with the helmet, and whiffs on so many tackles.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
Megatron is like Randy Moss with strength, TO with more speed.....
October 10th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
Is that you coach Jackson?!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Screw sanzenbackerhjiaofewfjasdlkfawe.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Fuck....Fairley got held there on that pass to Sanzenbacher.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
What's with Cutler's goofy footwork out of under-center? I've never seen a QB run straight backwards in a pass drop - usually they are running sidewaysish.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:39 PM ^
Most of it is stemming from the pressure. He's got less than 2 seconds most of the time to get rid of it.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
The hardest part about being a Bears fan tonight isn't watching you guys crush us, it's having to root for Sanzenbacher.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
I was thinking about that during the whole "Rooting for OSU b/c of the different divisions" argument. I thought to myself: "I'm so glad that I don't have to root for OSU players in the NFL" Let's keep this up.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
I wonder if it helps that Tom Lewand is a Michigan guy.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
Dad is from Chicago, and I don't have the hate that I have for, say, the Bulls, or even Blackhawks, but I think I'd have the hardest time rooting for Cutler.

And whoever turned all-time classic Soldier's Field into something from Close Encounters.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:57 PM ^
I have a hard time rooting for Cutler.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:58 PM ^
is that everytime a Lions player makes a tackle he has to flex his arms. HURR DURR, I HAZ MUSSLES, LOOK AT ME LOL
October 10th, 2011 at 10:00 PM ^
Would be impresses by the ability to flex their arms...
October 10th, 2011 at 10:06 PM ^
would be endowed with the ability to spell correctly...
October 10th, 2011 at 10:56 PM ^
Don't push me off the porch, Internet tough guy.
October 10th, 2011 at 11:39 PM ^
Who are you to be grammar cop?
October 10th, 2011 at 9:39 PM ^
I honestly don't expect Quitler to finish this game. He just might die and Suh, Fairley, Williams, and Hill will eat his body where it lies.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
defense I have seen since the great D's of old. They will seriously hurt you and potentially ruin another teams season because of it!
October 10th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
But they play with a nastiness I love.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:48 PM ^
does john gruden think every player is amazing? maybe, its just me.
October 10th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
Both him and Jaws love everyone, especially quarterbacks. "What a great play by Stafford overthrowing Burleson/Megatron!"
October 10th, 2011 at 10:00 PM ^
"yeah, i dont know if he actually overthrew burleson...he kind of stoped his feet, you can't see it on the replay" lmao, Monday night crew is pretty solid though.
