Solid choices, and I like that they're all seniors. Hopefully they can guide our team to a successful year, and end their Michigan careers on a high note!

Great choices....all high character guys who are also key contributors on the field. It is exciting that we are going back to the tradition of players voting on captains, prior to the season...as we had for nearly 130 seasons prior to the debacle. Go Blue..!

Is hilarious since it means the opposite of what you are saying.

Are you going to honestly try to tell me that this comment was not intended to fire people up?

based on my research, this website could not have hiccuped:

Actually, I'm not really seeing anything in those search results that addresses the question of whether websites have GI tracts one way or the other.

Websites do not. Hamsters running on wheels to power said websites do. This is the actual event:

No complaints at all about any of the choices, though I was kind of rooting for T Wolf to be named a captain
August 28th, 2011 at 9:20 PM ^
can we get some pics up in here?
August 28th, 2011 at 9:21 PM ^
Will Heininger got screwed, e-fact.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
Will they stil have a new guy each week out with them for the coin toss? The "game captain" or whatever it's called...
August 28th, 2011 at 10:04 PM ^
I hope not. Game captains are lame. It's the pc era we live in where everybody gets a "participation" trophy. I want my leaders, the guiding force of my team to walk out there each week.
August 28th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
In the early years of the Minnesota Wild franchise, Jacques Lemaire had a system where a different set of three players would be captains ever few weeks, which I always thought was stupid.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:26 PM ^
why the hell isn't Hagerup a captain?
August 28th, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
All great choices. I think RVB and Denard would have also been fantastic. Especially RVB. He's been through a lot on that defense over the years, and still has a great additude.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:31 PM ^
I'm happy with their choices, though I suppose it doesn't really matter if I'm happy with their choices or not.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
Great choices..Great leaders.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
3 great guys. As Hoke said, the whole senior class is filled with leaders. There were a lot of great people to choose from.
August 28th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
Great to see the three. Koger has had three different QBs throwing him the ball and run pretty different versions of the spread in his years at UM, and the guy just produces. I know we always talk about Molk and Martin, but I'm very happy that Koger was also recognized.
August 28th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
No surprises with those three. I hope Koger has a big year, hes ready for one.
August 28th, 2011 at 10:27 PM ^
I expect all of these guys to perform at a high level this season. Molk and Martin are beasts and Koger has the potential to blow up in this offense. Congrats to all of them and here's to a great season!
GO BLUE

That is a sizeable group of guys. Nothing says manball like 850 pounds of beef calling it in the air.
August 28th, 2011 at 10:28 PM ^
I thought it would be Molk, T Wolf, and Martin, but Kogers good too.
August 29th, 2011 at 1:02 AM ^
Hoke loves Koger not kroger.

MANBALL
August 28th, 2011 at 11:08 PM ^
no complaints here.
August 29th, 2011 at 12:01 AM ^
Molk and Martin were locks. I would have been very concerned if either hadn't been elected a captain.
August 29th, 2011 at 12:48 AM ^
Very good choices by our players, congrats to the new captians who will led our team in the 132nd season of Michigan Football. Five more days, five more days, five more days!
Oh, yeah.... Five more days!! GBOD!

1. Kovacs
2. Denard
2. Roh

No surprise here, based on what I think I know. Go Blue!

I figured Molk and Martin would be locks, I also thought Woolfolk would have beern a nice pick too.
Solid selection nonetheless
