I wish they would have held off on the fake reverse and throwback...thats a great play and no doubt would end up getting them six in columbus. Still, itll be fun to see what the offense does next week.
I independently agree with the Mgobloggers on D Harris and always thought he was one of the quickest (east west) and most efficient tacklers ive seen at Michigan.
Im all for the legends concept, but I agree with you that they need to do away with those stupid patches. I dont need a "legends" patch to know that the #2 on Big Blue is a special uniform.
Good luck to them finding any sort of support among the Irish. Having lived in Ireland for a year, I can tell you that the casual Irish sporting fan is generally less than flattered with the ND mascot as it simply perpetuates the common irish stereotype of them being a bunch of drunken brawlers. Also, I dont understand why theyre wearing these shoes, they're and American football team.
I understand what you mean about Porter and lacking a personality as a player, and while that may have been true his first three years with the program, the kid came out of nowhere his senior year. I'll always remember Porter that year occupying that area inbetween the dot and the top of the circle on his off-wing, and he was deadly with Kolarik and Pac feeding him on the power play. You could also argue that what Hensick was to stickhandling, Porter was to shooting accuracy. He was deadly accurate his senior year and we havent seen a shooter quite like him since his senior year.
I just want to say I graduated in 2010, and my roommate is a recruiting/mfootball junkie (im a huge fan, follow the sites and "the blog" regularly, but not a JUNKIE) and I remember him telling me about Cam Gordon blowing shit up during spring ball in 2010 and 2011...just funny thats all.

Is it me or does Notre Dame seem like a traveling circus. Sure most Irish sports enthusiasts know who the Fighting Irish are, but like many even in our country, nobody cares.
You totally nailed the Notre Dame-Targeryens comparison. The name Notre Dame totally commands respect still, just as there is still an aura about the Targeryen name, but in reality its all just a bunch of nostalgia, former glory, and not a real threat anymore.
When you consider all of these points, its almost preposterous that Trey would leave and not develop his skills, or at least develop physically one more year.
I feel like this undoes so much of the good thats happened to this program lately....Beilein's got a retention problem--I dont know what it is but you cant be losing players like this.
I as excited about these, theyre simple, understated, and most importantly, not a WVU maize pipiing disaster like the ones theyve been wearing the past 3 seasons. Unfortunately they all tore during the NW game and the team reverted to 2010's away set.
Levenberry should just commit already...I mean seriously whats the point in waiting. He likes Michigan, we like him, we have a sweet class, and hes gonna be good. I dont get it.
he could beat Tebow again in Denver. I heard Jon Fox is looking for two solid qbs to compete with Teebz. They could grab Henne and pick up someone else in the draft.
I cant see how their current state of affairs is simply due to them not recruiting mobile quarterbacks. Colt McCoy, a pocket passer (with minor running ability) won way too many games in the post VY era to attribute their decline to a lack of mobility. If im not mistaking that Texas defense has looked like shit the past two or three seasons, at least since Orakpo left. And regarding Gilbert, the kid was most likely a no-brainer at the time. Great QB right down the road, much like our friend in Warren.
Totally underrated and great area to live would be right around east Jefferson, or El Jefe, the Jeffrey, as we used to call it. Anywhere around there definitely still has that student ghetto feel without being to grad-student or ktown hipster.

Lest we forget Beanie Wells. Pretty sure every time he played Michigan he broke off a 60+ yard touchdown. Gamebreaking too.
I about shit myself when I saw that. Theyre not even playing fundamental baseball!
its from the state game

Another University League alumnus makes good. Which team did you play for? Ive been playing since 2007 with D5.
dorm room picture confirmation please.

Also lets keep in mind that DCFC are a long long way from MLS consideration...theyre playing 4th tier minor league soccer.

had him for organic in 2007, he always could take and make a joke

Sparty wont make it to the final four, theyre due for a big time upset in this tournament. Guard play (Appling) is too inconsistent.
If I were head of a major college football program, my recruiting strategy would be:
MONEY CARS BITCHES CLOTHES MONEY CARS BITCHES CLOTHES.
Sadly, im not the head of a major college football program
you'd think it was 2005 all over again with all this talk of power backs and manball I-form!
you need to watch 28 days later. But Zombieland is a cult hit as well.

snapbacks have been back "in" for a while now bra.
He goes hard in the paint. Simply electric
Wow great stuff Ace. Im genuinely excited about this kid. He clearly belongs at the next level and has all the physical tools.
Let's get into a rhythm on O and do this. Keep it simple.

Great job with these young man.

Shit, we used to sign our leases in october and september. That being said, theres always SOMETHING available, it may just not be as ideal.
