OT: Snap back vs Fitted (hat) Which Do You Like Better

Submitted by husker4life on

I know this if off topic but I know for a fact a lot of you here like to wear M hats during the games that Michigan is playing in and I wanted to know if you prefer more fitted vs snap back hats. I personally feel that snap backs are STUPID. I can't stand when everyone wants one just cause Mac Miller or whoever is now wearing them. They aren't cheaper than fitted hats are either so that argument isnt even valid and plus guys didn't your mom give you snap back caps when you were a little kid? Come on! I personally love the fitted hat over the snap back anyday but others may say different. I don't know how do you feel about them?

are awful they are the crap they gave us in little league baseball with the air conditioned back part wow those were horrible. I actually love the stretch fit hats which are pretty much fitted but easier for the lazy person like me who has no idea what size my head is.

I love fitted hats for baseball hats. Anything besides that I can go either way. I do like fitted because I still like to put them on backwards every once in a while and it looks way better with a fitted.

The snap-back is very "bro" but I think it has a nice look to it sometimes, as do Ray Bans which have become a staple of the Bro Wardrobe.  I, myself, do not try to rock the snap back and rarely wear a hat.  When I do wear a hat, it is a fitted.

I wear strap back hats, too, but generally not SNAP back hats.  I do have a few hats with straps and buckles, though (including a rose bowl hat).  My go-to hats are my fitted M ball cap from 1996; 2005 Rose Bowl hat with strap/buckle; white taylor made cap with velcro strap; and black WPP hat with generic plastic snaps.

Why New Era doesn't make this exactly the same way, is beyond me.  Oh well.  I got mine.  From Moe's.  Before Bo retired.

Is actually the Nike Stretch Fit Wool. I have at least 10 of them in blue and one each in maize and white. They were the best. I'm especially fond on the John Navarre siggy on my maize one.

It was a pretty good approximation; not quite the original.  The really old ones, with the old New Era label (with hat size) had green under-brims.  Old, old school.  It is exactly what you see Bo wearing.

yeah....like the kid on the bus who still hasn't learned to tie his shoes...I like the advancement if you will of the velcro closure that gives you a little more flexibility. Also like the new stretchfits...never really gave fitted a chance so that's my take.

SNAPBACKS

If I let my hair grow then I can't wear the fitted hats anymore until I get a hair cut.

I also hate the stupid giant 59/50 sticker they put on the bill.
