I didn't grow up in the south, but I have had a lot of sweet tea in the south, and McD's is pretty damn good
Try some Jeremiah Weed...
Is that shit any good? They have been advertising the hell out of it on PTI.
Tea Cooler is way better.
Florida people know what I'm talking about.
Captain Morgans and Dr. Pepper
Bridgeport Kingpin Double Red Ale. Decided to take a chance on it this afternoon in the absence of Two Hearted on the store shelf. :\
It's pretty decent. But I wanted that Two Hearted.
Bridgeport makes a killer Pale Ale
lots of beers
coffee. Trying to write a fucking dissertation proposal.
cut with coke and lemon juice. :-)
Just bought the new Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey. Hoping it lives up to some of the reviews.
I've wondered about it, let us know how it how it is, especially on rocks
On the rocks, it tastes like the nectar of the gods. I'll let you know what it feels like in the morning.
Yes, please share your experience...tomorrow morning hopefully
Ok, quick report before we get to far into this... Personally I like it. There is a honey flavor but it is not overpowering. Also I like that is doesn't taste like honey syrup poured into a whiskey bottle. Have only tried it on the straight, and on the rocks so can't help with any mixing ideas.
If any thoughts for mixers let me know I will NOT be finishing this bottle tonight.
Coffee, Jack Daniels Honey, and Baileys
On a project in [REDACTED], NC. Started with Fat Tire draft, went to Foster's oil cans (on special), then High Life Light. Don't knock it til you try it.
Fat Tire? In NC? I thought you could only get that West of the Mississippi?
Fat Tire is everywhere now (at least in PA, land of the state owned liquor stores).
I thought that too, but I'm pleased to say it's in NC as well. Haven't found it in northern VA yet but I have to imagine it's there somewhere. Amber ales are among my favorites.
Oh High Life Lite. I enjoyed many of those in my undergrad years. Not too bad for the price. Tonight I am working on a few Leinenkugel's Original. Very cheap here in Wisconsin!
Is the Leinkugel's original anything like the sunset wheat? If it is, I wouldn't be able to drink it. The sunset wheat honestly tastes like Fruit Loops.
NyQuil & 5hr Energy
Just out of curiousity to see what would happen, I'm going to try that tonight..
Edit: lets just say it turned to a intersting night!
Abita!
About 8% alcohol, should make for a good night
This is an aggressive ale. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory–maybe something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it’s made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beverage will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make things taste better.
Dial back the aggression a little. It's just beer.
I take it you've never had an arrogant bastard. Thats what it says on the label
I've had it, but I didn't read the label. Kudos.
...on the rocks
followed by a Knob Creek. A woody and a knobber, life is f'ing good.
then a pissload of fine Canadian lagers. Still a good night to be me.
MIke's Hard Lemonade.
It's only lame if we let it be.
ever thus to mikes hard.
to you and Mrs. JTMC33
he took his wife to dinner?
Good mix, keep it up. Nothing wrong with the foo-foos to get the night started.
