Bufkin has already starting recruiting a certain in-state guard that has been one of my favorites.
Interesting. Seems like the general feeling has been that Akins may commit to MSU sometime soon. We'll see if this changes thing.
I would love to see Bufkin and Akins get paired together-they would make a most dynamic, all Michigan duo. I would take Akins over many who are more highly ranked.

Basketball doesn't get the fanfare on here that football does. Even the North Carolina football 5 star reclassifying post got more replies than this did.
This is true. But also working against bball these days is all of the news about football. We've been wondering for weeks about what the season would look like, if there's a season. There was just a football recruiting post on the front page. All of the sports channels on TV have been talking football. It's July - no bball in sight, but football is traditionally gaining 'Mo for Fall camps, and there's no baseball to occupy anything else.
I wouldn't worry too much about a lack of notice for an outstanding 'crootin job perpetrated by JH. JH is killing it in recruiting, so we'll be fine...

What an awesome pick up for the staff. I love his game and he definitely seems to have a high ceiling. I can't believe how this class is already coming together, can't wait to see how it rounds out!

Akins and Warley to close out the guards in this class would be incredible. I won’t hold my breathe, but even if those don’t work out, our targets below them are solid as well (Brizzi, Collins, Whitt etc)
