Wake Up! It's Game Day!
Good morning MGoCommunity,
B1G play starts today for the Wolverines, and I suspect they will be more dialed in than they were last week. Maybe I'm trying to find ways to justify their performance, but I suspect it is very hard for a team to stay hyped for a team like BGSU until 7:30pm. Stated differently: perhaps the outcome would have been drastically different if the game was played at noon. Nonetheless, I suspect the team will bounce back nicely today, and I am excited to see a sharp and accurate JJ.
Needless to say, I'm rooting for Maryland and hope they completely embarrass Sparty in EL. Also, and I hate to admit it, I'll be rooting for ND (going to have to take a long shower after that). I'm tired of OSU's success, and I want them to get beat in prime time.

I think last week was purely a product of malaise. The coaches pretty much came in with a vanilla game plan of “just win easily without putting a thing on take” and the players seemed to have the attitude of “let’s just club this baby seal quickly and go home because we are getting kinda bored of clubbing baby seals every weak”. Like you said, making this a night game probably only added to the malaise because it’s tough to manufacture a level of intensity and then keep that intensity up for 12-14 hours pregame when you are playing . . . Bowling Green. The game should be memory holed. And, we still won by 20+ points while playing our backups for the 4th quarter. I am torn on today’s ND-OSU game. On the one hand, I really want to see OSU start to lose and see Day’s seat get just a bit warm. Obviously he’s had huge success, but he’s lost 2 in a row to us. Losing to ND early and then a possible 3rd loss to us might heat up his seat a bit more. But, on the other hand, for our playoff aspirations, I think we have to root for ND to take a loss whenever possible. It also doesn’t hurt us if OSU is undefeated heading into The Game. Assuming that a meteor isn’t going to solve the problem, I think I am leaning towards rooting for OSU. Should be a good game either way.

I just think, in the long run, it benefits M for OSU to be down a bit....not hot garbage.......but just a little bit. Like enough to where the stop getting droves of 5 start recruits. I know they've alway out-recruited Michigan, but the number of 5 stars they have been bringing in is just stupid.

I grew up in SW Michigan 40 miles from SB in the 60s and 70s and absolutely hated ND. The bias from the media and officiating was so obvious they did not hide it. To this day I despise ND more than any other team. But today I want to see them bury Ohio.

Edit: Can't afford to have slow stalled drives, the longer this game is close the more it plays into Rutgers favor because of the new clock rule. Get ahead big quickly

Here’s to hoping we have a fully healthy secondary out there today! I know we don’t necessarily need all of them to be out there today, but if any of them are still sitting out, I’ll start getting concerned about this being an NHG situation.

son has been so sick the last couple of days he could hardly eat. may not play today or even dress for the game. waiting on him when he wakes up and gives us the thumbs up/down on whether he can suit up.

Rutgers at 3 & 0 has played well so far so I think this will be a good test for the team. Looking forward to seeing Michigan play sharp, go 4 & 0, and come out healthy. If so, will celebrate the rest of the day and soak in moar college football.

Somehow, for some unknown reason, I spent all week thinking this was a 3:30 game. Only last night did I realize it was a noon kick - and I was kinda relieved. I love me a good 3:30 kick, but with Ophelia blowing through today I have no options but to sit in the house and watch TV. So no hurry to get anything done before kick. So lets just get this on!!!
Can I just be apathetic as to who wins the Meteor Game? I mean, why can't they both lose?

LOL!! Bird hunting? No, sir... The goldendoodle hybrid was bred to get a Poodle's coat with a Golden's demeaner (Poodle's are largely assholes). Can you teach them to bird hunt? Sure - but that's not the reason they've become a thing, which is being a good housedog that mostly doesn't shed. And from what I understand, they're quite good at it! Plenty cute, that's for sure...
Some 20-25 years of training, titling, and hunting over retriever breeds is how I know this.
