Minus a kick return for a TD or turnover for a score, I can't see how Oregon can win this game at this point.

They're a pretty cool thing.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:12 PM ^
What are these "halftime adjustments" of which you speak?
November 7th, 2013 at 10:19 PM ^
I heard it on the History Channel one time.

Oregon has moved the ball. I think they will score some points in the second half. Whether they can play D is another story though.

I love that Stanford's "two-minute" offense still features a lot of power.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:12 PM ^
Goddamn it, it would be a dream come true to be completely controlling the lines of scrimmage like this against Ohio State.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:22 PM ^
Like 1995 Tim Biakabtuka Dreams.

by Stanford against a team like Oregon, so impressive!
November 7th, 2013 at 10:13 PM ^
Unless Oregon blocks a field goal or something here, this game is over. Oregon can't get their offense on the field.
Is anyone else watching Baylor and imagining what 2010 could have been like with a defense like that? Maybe not world beaters, but pretty solid.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:13 PM ^
... in Bob Stoops' argument with the refs over the Baylor recievers' pick play. Both Stoops, and the ref.

Really interesting situation here. Go for the TD?
November 7th, 2013 at 10:16 PM ^
Could've used these refs last week.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:17 PM ^
17-0 at the half against Oregon any effing time.

I'd they win out the would beat #10 Oklahoma, 14 Oklahoma state, TCU and a rapidly improving Texas team.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:17 PM ^
Smart play by Oregon. Take the penalty and force them to take 3. Still, though. Game over.

LOL! Oregon coach just said his defense was playing "great."

November 7th, 2013 at 10:32 PM ^
But in Stanford's case it's not necessarily play-calling. We could call these same plays and would not have 17 points. Stanford has really, really good player development.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:26 PM ^
It's halftime and Tyler Gaffney has 24 carries already. I love it.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:26 PM ^
I might be wrong, but 4.89 yards per snap for Oregon is extremely un-Duck-like, if that's even a thing one could say. Stanford is actually being slowed down in comparison to their normal per snap pace and is shutting out the Ducks. The Pac-12 in November is a weird place sometimes.

That's OK, his NC ring is bigger than Herbie's NO RING.

I don't think Herbie ever won a B1G title.

If these games play out the way they have, OSU will probably have Bama, FSU, Stanford AND Baylor in front of it.
November 7th, 2013 at 10:35 PM ^
I was hoping for two games that were more exciting tonight. Maybe Oregon can make it a 4th Q game. I doubt it, but maybe.

What is the point of having nameplates on uniforms that are almost totally invisible?
November 7th, 2013 at 10:49 PM ^
....to Adidas's branding efforts last year. Adidas staked out territory as the guys with the numbers you can't read because they're the same color as the jerseys, now Nike's laid claim to invisible chrome nameplates.

now I know why everyone is in pain above. It's beautiful to watch their offense
