Team 134 "Beat Ohio Chant"
We all heard about the "Beat Ohio" chant that Team 134 did at NFTC. The video can be found here:

That was awesome.
This is quite cool. Great to see the players having fun, and better to hear them all say "Beat Ohio" at the end.
I love watching them interact with each other. They are going to be so tight when they get on campus (especially important for Shane and the O-line).
I also liked how cryptic and then complimentary Taco was when they asked him about Caris. Anybody know what time that announcement is supposed to happen today?
What's not to like about it?
1- Players did work at the camp- with a couple getting position MVP
2- Recruits all clearly get along
3- They "obvious" choice is "beat OHIO"
Good to see the guys have some fun, excite our fanbase, and piss off Ohio fans all at the same time!
Is it just my maize-colored glasses, or do these guys really come off as well-spoken, mature high schoolers?
I'm excited for what's in store for the next several years.
As someone who's perspective is also colored by my maize-colored glasses, I'm going to say it's probably a combination of the two.
Well, my glasses are colored highlighter yellow, so I think I provide a non-skewed viewpoint. they are incredibly well spoken and mature.
At first I was upset with the hiring of Brady Hoke after we didn't get Miles or Harbaugh. But now I feel like an idiot for ever doubting this guy. Michigan football is back and not going anywhere anytime soon!
Trust me you are not the only one that thought / felt that way. It definitely is great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
I was the same way. Boy, we're dumb . . . huh?
Agreed....
Signed: A guy who has never been so happy to be wrong
I guess it goes to show you just how important passion and desire are in being a coach (probably a player also).
players look more physically ready to play football than anyone RR recruited?
That horse down there... kick it one more time. You know, just to be sure.
Why "ugh"? Isn't that a good thing?
Of course there is Morris, but I have come to appreciate Dawson and Taco. I think UM found an excellent guard in Dawson and I was slightly worried about all the attention UF was throwing at him. With the high quality OL we've snagged in the last two classes we have more wiggle room regarding RB skill. I'm not sure why the RBs haven't lined up to run behind this line and share the backfield with Shane. Of course I would say the same thing about the WRs; nonetheless, those who sign on will be greatly rewarded.
This year is huge. M will either keep the momentum rolling from last year or I can easily see them struggle with maybe the toughest schedule in the nation. Something tells me Hoke will find a way to thrive and keep getting classes like this.
There is a significant variation of potential W-L record this year. If the breaks go our way I can see another 11 or 12 win season. If thinks go against us I can see a seven win season. Always wanting the best, I would consider a nine win season a success. To me the Notre Dame, Nebraska, MSU and Ohio games are toss ups. I also worry about the AF game although I believe Mattision will have us prepared for their run based attack.
SIAP (please omit if duplicated) but this very funny old article about Ohio’s name did not appear anywhere in my search of mgoblog.
Dear Ohio State: Drop the "The"
This Sunday, as nearly 100 million Americans tune in.., CBS will likely utilize a popular procedure for introducing the starting lineups, with each player stating his name and then his alma mater. Peculiarly, when Will Smith of the New Orleans Saints (the guy now suspended for bounty gate, is introduced), (he)'ll feel it necessary to include what's known by English majors as an article adjective to qualify the exact institution to which (he is) referring. That institution is Ohio State University. Or, in the words of OSU alumni and fans, The Ohio State University.
Oh, that Ohio State University. Thank you for clarifying.
Technically, on paper, it is The Ohio State University. (yet) most rational individuals find use of the "The" rather vexing. It's pretentious ….without any discernable rationale.
(In fact, using the full and technical name of Ohio is) unnecessary, considering that there is only one Ohio State University in existence on our fair planet. And although OSU grads tend to confuse easily, I would wager that few have ever mistakenly attended class at the campus of Ohio University on account of an omitted 'The' on a course syllabus.
….(note that) technically Pennsylvania State is labeled 'The Pennsylvania State University' …However, likely because they're not all cretins, you'll never hear Penn State grads refer to their alma mater by its full and technical name
(To those Ohio grads (who) feel violated when others misuse their name)…Perhaps it will serve as solace for you to learn that each time a community college, driving school or lemonade stand with the word 'Ohio' or 'State' in its designation is established, they're actually not trying to run you out of town.
Nobody's really looking to be you.
In fact, they're looking to ensure that they blatantly distinguish themselves from any association with you whatsoever.

Here is also a link to Borton’s article on using the term “Ohio”
Shane Morris training to be the next Tom VH after a successful NFL career?
Pure, unadulterated awesomeness.
Much win is involved in this video. One thing I noticed also, itsthe wrap on LTT's shoulder, does lend some credence to those reports he's playing hurt. Gotta give the kid some credit for that, he's got a free ride already, he could just sit home and take it easy. But he's out there taking on other very good players at less than 100%, if that's not the makings of a Michigan Man, what is?
