I'd like to see the NFL be forced to do this but have an "Age out" clause like you see in Junior Hockey so it's not 18 year olds against grown men.

10/01/2018 - 6:13pm Fun fact: Carrots don't…

Fun fact: Carrots don't actually help with vision. This was attributed to the British in WW2, see they figured out this whole "radar" thing and it was still classified. When asked how they were so good at identifying German planes even at night they said carrots.

09/26/2018 - 2:36pm You see there's this thing…

You see there's this thing called a title way up at the tippy top. That (usually) gives you a pretty good idea of what's inside said post. You may want to read it closely before randomly clicking it in the future lest you waste your time.

09/26/2018 - 11:33am This quote never made sense…

This quote never made sense to me. When you hand the ball off are there not 3 possible outcomes two of which are bad?

09/18/2018 - 3:19pm It's simple imho. You don't…

It's simple imho. You don't have other sports clamoring to pay their athletes and I'll give you 950 million reasons why. If Universities go back to the way it used to be before massive TV deals, giant bowl payouts, and ridiculous coaching salaries then the talk will die. If instead you want all that on the backs of players you can call "student athletes" then you're gonna have to come to the table eventually.

I have the same question. What 6?

The picture of Woody Hayes choking the Clemson player with the caption "Woody was just trying to restrain him"

08/15/2018 - 1:50am If the kids are old enough…

If the kids are old enough to enjoy the competition then great your plan works. However if they are too young then get them all the goodies they love but dont normally eat and pavlov's dog them.

01/30/2018 - 6:53am Holy shit r/Iamverysmart is

Holy shit r/Iamverysmart is leaking into the real world......

01/29/2018 - 11:07pm I agree. If this was at

I agree. If this was at Michigan I'd instantly become a Northwestern fan or something. This is way bigger than fandom and wins/losses.

01/01/2018 - 3:49pm Peters showed me everything I

Peters showed me everything I need to see when he slid instead of getting that first down. I was rooting for him going into next year and now im 100% Patterson.

12/13/2017 - 12:10pm Well "The force Awakens" was

Well "The force Awakens" was the same movie as "A New Hope" so it makes sense that this one is comparable to Empire.

12/08/2017 - 8:55am He's not going to have to sit

He's not going to have to sit out the year. If he does have to then he's not coming to us

12/03/2017 - 12:06am The only thing Wisconsin got

The only thing Wisconsin got screwed by was Hornibrook

11/08/2017 - 2:35pm I think you're missing the

I think you're missing the point. In this scenario the football gods have looked upon his sacrifice favorably and allowed us to pull off the extremely unlikely. This is worth it.

11/02/2017 - 11:59pm Plus I really think he's

Plus I really think he's impressed with DM because of the care he takes in playing the part. Any coach is going to notice a player that watches film and mimics teams so well to help his team for practice. What kind of prep work would he do for leading his team?

11/02/2017 - 12:50pm Pretty sure they were

Pretty sure they were referring to all the "JOK is the savior" after Purdue game. Maybe let Peters have a bigger body of work first.

10/21/2017 - 1:59pm Awesome video, thank you

Awesome video, thank you

10/21/2017 - 9:21am 21-17 Good Guys
Much like

21-17 Good Guys
Much like Purdue JOK has a chip on his shoulder (Hometown, his mom) and plays surprisingly competent.

10/20/2017 - 12:06am So it's the cops issue you

So it's the cops issue you got pulled over approx 10 times and many of which you didn't have a license?

10/19/2017 - 11:58pm He was, this was his 7th

He was, this was his 7th arrest in 18 months

10/19/2017 - 10:29am I was never a fan of his but

I was never a fan of his but then the "targeting" hit on JOK happened and during review he said something along the lines of "It doesnt matter if it's a shoulder pad or a forearm, it doesn't have to be a helmet to helmet for targeting after the change so get that out of your vocabulary" fast forward to no call for targeting and he says "That's the right call he hit him with the shoulder pad only"

10/11/2017 - 9:12am Same boat as you, no real

Same boat as you, no real connection just a love for all things Michigan. Being a Lions fan, having 10 years of "Non-Championships" is nothing.

10/10/2017 - 11:13am What part of any questions

What part of any questions he's ever answered makes you think he's going to say anything to the media. I'd be worried if he changed now. He's not throwing anyone under the bus publicly but who knows whats said behind closed doors.

10/09/2017 - 11:51am What the hell????? Is this

What the hell????? Is this optimism and reasonable thinking? That doesn't belong here. Everyone knows all the coaches should be fired and we are just the worst team ever.....

10/04/2017 - 7:39pm This reads like sour grapes

This reads like sour grapes before the game is even played. I get it "B1G refs are terrible and ALWAYS screw us"-Every B1G fan ever.

Every ref has certain tendancies and any good coach will learn them along with the players on what typically gets called or doesn't. Saying that it will be part of the gameplan is a garbage hot take in my opinion

10/02/2017 - 7:53pm Wait til you get on the PJ

Wait til you get on the PJ Masks hype train. That damn theme song goes through my head multiple times a day.

10/01/2017 - 7:56pm Being "sickened" and "No

Being "sickened" and "No longer supporting" are a far reach. If it was Michigan i'd find a new team to love or stop watching college football.

09/28/2017 - 11:19am I agree with the ideas behind

I agree with the ideas behind what you said however and I'm guessing since I dont know you but , there's a huge difference between doing something illegal (drugs, theft, etc) and taking a sack full o'cash from a bagman to go to a school.

09/26/2017 - 3:10pm I feel like everyone is so

I feel like everyone is so jaded in regards to what players say (with good reason) what if JOK's preseason interview where he said Pep helped him immensely with his confidence after being benched in Houston he was shook. Is it possible that wasnt empty praise and he really was messed up mentally? It would explain IU last year and the (hopeful real) huge jump this year

09/26/2017 - 10:22am I wonder what if any the

I wonder what if any the psyche effect is for an incredible visiting locker room. I mean absolutely beyond first class by all standards. Would that screw with a team more? I can just imagine players walking into an amazingly comfortable room with all ammenities and being relaxed along with some jealousy of how nice the home locker room must be....

09/19/2017 - 12:25pm Didnt scroll enough to see if

Didnt scroll enough to see if this was said but if you didnt know the first team Offense rarely if ever goes against the first team Defense in practice. Too much risk for injury. Thats what the scout team does. They line up in formations and run plays the opposing team has been known to run to help prepare for the upcoming game.

09/19/2017 - 10:59am So the guy that almost never

So the guy that almost never makes a bad read, adjusts plays at the line of scrimmage, and corrects the young guys in their positions to make sure we don't get a penalty isn't "rallying" them enough..... I for one am tired of this hot take. I get it Speight probably isn't gonna win a heisman and has had a bit of bad luck on turnovers (2 self inflicted, 2 he had help) but damn.... This fan base of ours needs to take a step back. We're 3-0 going into the meat of our B1G schedule. Atleast part of the issus is play calling

09/15/2017 - 11:50am Jarhead checking in

Spent some time on an AF base while in Fire school. Great chow for a few months then back to eating warmed garbage and crayons.

08/25/2017 - 11:44am Seems to me we have a built

Seems to me we have a built in lineage in 20 years and a few NC's. I believe his name is Jay something or other...

08/16/2017 - 1:37pm I love HK and Ballers but I

I love HK and Ballers but I have an issue with Ballers. If anyone remembers 'Playmakers' on ESPN it had an amazing first season then due to NFL pressure ESPN buried it. Ballers uses actual NFL teams, players, etc and has most of the same issues without batting an eye. What the hell....

06/14/2014 - 3:02am You should see what he does

You should see what he does with twenties

05/09/2014 - 3:35pm My opinion

The down blocking by all the lineman (Zone) Including the TE (Assuming he gets over in time). Allows the RB to read the middle of the defense and bounce to the left. Hence the FB stretchining to the CB on the left. The play was designed to suck Clowney in and run right by him not to the A/B gap.

05/09/2014 - 3:28pm Two words that come to mind

I'm surprised that "Moxie" (White) and "Well spoken" (Black) aren't on the list. Those are two that I constantly hear only used in that context.

05/05/2014 - 3:22pm sincerely curious

Do you believe that because Michael Sam may not get drafted or is there some new info that came out? Imo its not really a huge shocker that old rich guys dont like change no matter how much it doesn't matter.

02/14/2014 - 4:13pm just wondering

I was just wondering if you read the text log? To me it seemed there was a genuine friendship and from Incognito's side a brotherhood vibe. Granted the convo was foul and drug references were everywhere (which I believe is why it didnt come out right away) but I didnt think anything was wrong with how they engaged each other. No one seemed offended. Maybe it's just me or I didnt read all the reports but I feel bad for Incognito in this instance.

01/16/2014 - 12:03pm Ban

Can someone just instantly ban people that comment things like that? (5starrecruit) It makes us all look like Mlive or RCMB

11/04/2013 - 11:09am Agreed plus 1000

Agreed plus 1000

11/04/2013 - 7:12am I'm pretty sure some teams in

I'm pretty sure some teams in the North are doing that already

10/18/2013 - 6:46am This could change fantasy

This could change fantasy football forever

10/03/2013 - 10:25am As a high school Line coach

I'd like to piggyback on this comment. Indeed it isn't very difficult in a routine play or in a controlled practice setting. However when you have a guy over you or even worse when you have to step hard in one direction to take the DT to one side or the other (as in a trap) it becomes increasingly difficult to make a hard step and get the ball on target.

Think of it this way, smaller centers make it to the NFL because they can long snap (tight spiraled passes between the legs basically) they can't have anyone make contact with them until their heads are up and yet they still miss from time to time.

09/24/2013 - 11:52am I have nothing to add other

I have nothing to add other than I wanted to keep the "zone" alive and satisfy my curiosity

08/18/2013 - 6:45pm There is no such thing as an

There is no such thing as an ex-Marine. The term is former Marine or non practicing Marine ( if you're not into the whole brevity thing). Also this is terrible. The NCAA needs to get their collective heads out of their asses.

08/07/2013 - 12:23pm I have two thoughts on it

1. The NFL obviously uses NCAA football as minor leagues for freeso make a league thats not college based. I believe the market can support it. There will be kids that choose to learn and kids that choose to get paid.

2. A portion of all jersey sales and player likeness go to a fund that is given to the player only after meeting requirements of graduation, no severe discipline issues, etc.

08/04/2013 - 8:55pm Am I the only one that see's

Am I the only one that see's the irony of this comment coming on a michigan board? I'm not pointing figures and definitely not judging but we are a large part of the problem.
