"A native of New Jersey, the 6-foot-2 rising sophomore came to College Park last year as a highly-touted four-star recruit. "
What exactly is a "rising sophomore" anyways? Does this mean he's still growing.....gets up early in the morning.....a little too excited (if you know what i mean).......what?
This a sophomoric comment.
But was it a rising sophmoric comment?
Yeah, I'd say just got out of summer school.
The comedy here is rising to the level of sophomoric!

How's Cleveland?
Sad but not surprised. And incredibly optimistic about our prospects for next year. It was one hell of a ride that's for sure.
And already talking about the Browns.
Wish they hadn't traded away Bennet and Wiggins for Love, I think they would have been even better.
Not trying to be rude but why did you think this was postworthy?
I'll hazard a guess:
We're not in football season, so room for more wide-ranging posts.
A potential starter for an in-division competitor has left the team.
I can't say I'll revisit the thread again, but did find it interesting. It's at least more relevant to Michigan football than Clint Dempsey tearing up a pad of paper.
I would assume because UM has what could be considered a dearth of talent at WR and the team hasn't been shy about acquiring transfers.
Maybe because my digital copy of HTTV is now out-of-date.

I hope you posted this on the "yellow analysis thread", the DTE Energy Thread, and the stupid soccer video thread.
Not that you're not right, but christ, its like being part of an AOL Ann Arbor general chat room back in the late 90s. Why single out this post by itself? It's at least related to football.
The comcast thread and the clint dempsey thread were labeled OT and I thought were actually interesting.
This is the type of thread that is related to UM in the very smallest of ways and not really interesting in the least. I would have liked this thread more if there was an intriging story as to why he was kicked off the team or if there was some noise about him looking at Michigan. But as it stands a random dude was kicked off a big ten football team...
I think that is related to UM in a much larger way then you appreciate.
and yet you've posted comments extolling the excitement of Ultimate frisbee.
Read the posting rules.
Since Twitter seems to be seizing, I can't embed a tweet. But, I did find a link that sheds a bit of light on the situation...
"Maryland wide receiver Juwann Winfree has been indefinitely suspended for violation of student code of conduct."
So I can't imagine that was about anything good. Don't see him getting a look from this coaching staff, if that was what OP was implying.
and potentially start for one of our opponents this year. It was clearly identified so you could have not clicked on the thread if it didn't interest you.
I'm sure a Nike vs Adidas thread will be posted soon so you have somethng more important to post about.
Ooooookaaaaayyy... I'm just gonna assume that you were replying to someone else? Possibly a deleted comment? Because I wasn't attacking you for posting this news about a player at a possible position of need looking for a new team, merely pointing out that he was suspended for a "violation of student code of conduct," and as such, might not get a look from the current staff. But who knows?
Brady Hoke recruited him out of high school. I'm not sure that we would be interested at this point, though.
Well if Brady liked him, he must have had good pad level!
Seriously, best of luck to the kid.
