While most of us know the football program is ascending, we finally get to see where the team is currently tomorrow.  While I am pretty sure our young team will get better as the season goes on, anxious and excited to see this team play now.  Bang, bang, the sub surfaces this football Saturday !

Prediction: SEC excuses will start with 5 minutes left in the third quarter tomorrow. Herbstreit will downplay the win and say it would be interesting to have a rematch at the end of the year.

Football is back. Just loaded the smoker with 14lbs of Boston butt, 11lbs of underblade chuck roast, 8lbs of bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, and about 50 bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. I will be eating good all season!

I managed to extend the weekend a bit - I am only going to be at work in the morning, and then I took Tuesday off, so between noon or so today and then, it will be me and football with the first day of school for my kids - 6th and 5th grade this time - somewhere in the AM on Tuesday. These weekends, these football weekends, but more importantly these Michigan football weekends are back.
