Loss to open his tenure - at home to an old rival

He actually was very condescending towards Michigan.  It wasn’t the fact he lobbied for his cause which would be understandable but he basically said Michigan was not a National Championship Team in a belittling way.

Whats truly irritating is Nebraska won a last second game on an illegally kicked football.   It would have been reversed today.

Who knows if ichigan would of beat Nebraska.  But you claim everybody knows.  Did you go door to door and take a survey?  Both teams were great that year.  I don't know who would of won.  That's what makes the playoff system so great now, the outcome is played on the field.

For the last minute of the game.  The title was glorious because the only reason why they lost was a boneheaded unnecessary roughness call called against Nebraska on a 3rd and 16 stop.  The first down gave Colorado the opportunity for the go ahead score.

I know this was supposed to be outhits, but to his credit he didn't seem all that jacked up at the end of the game.  Like, he wasn't screaming like a madman or anything, which feels like an improvement in his demeanor from years past.

I understand that take, but not running down the play clock is the reason they had time to drive down the field and take shots at the end zone after Colorado scored.  Even if they ran the clock down as far as possible on their last 3 offensive plays, maybe they run off an additional 25 seconds (since they threw on 3rd down), and Colorado scored with 1:06 left.

Frost knew that a first down likely wins him the game, and not getting a first down will leave Colorado plenty of time to drive and score regardless of how much time he takes off the clock, so why eliminate the chance that Nebraska could score after Colorado did?  Also, he was throwing a walk-on sophomore QB out there in a 1 point game.  I'm guessing that he wanted the kid focused on executing the plays and not on Madden-level clock management.

I was watching and the announcers were making a point of adding the time as they left it on the play clock. They mentioned something like 2 minutes could have been run off leaving Colorado with like 1 min 34 instead of 3:34 on the last drive. My recollection may be a bit fuzzy, but that's what I remember. Either way in that scenario you run the play clock down. You don't assume your defense is going to blow it like that.

Lol. All good. I don't want to argue with a fellow UofM fan. I took your glass house comment as a knock - yet against Notre Dame I was pretty much saying the same thing about Harbaugh. It's all good.

Nice win this week by the good guys!

I may be the only guy on the board who feels this way, but I like what Scott Frost is doing and I hope he succeeds at Nebraska. First, it really feels like deja vu with Harbaugh at Michigan, and I want both stories have a happy ending. Second, the B1G West really needs Nebraska to be NEBRASKA! again.

I thought Nebraska looked 1,000% better than they have in the past few years. Energized, focused and innovative. Frost does not have the talent yet, but Nebraska will be good as long as he is there, and Wisconsin's dominance of the West will be strongly challenged very soon.  Hopefully Frost's level of class will rise to the level of his coaching.

All I want to know is what time the damn game in 2 weeks vs Nebraska going to be? It is literally 2 weeks to the game, and the time is TBD.

Preeeeechiate it my man. I am guessing that it will be a 3:30 kickoff. Highly doubt that it is a Noon game, and I would think Wisconsin or Penn St would be more likely for a night game. Either way, I will be present and ready for Meeeeechigan to shuck the huskers!
