Supposed to say "outhit" in title - site not allowing edit (but mods must have - thanks!)

That douche can lose every game for all I care. Nice win by the Buffs.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:04 PM ^
Is Frost a douche? All I've ever seen is people praising his coaching. What did he do?
September 8th, 2018 at 8:26 PM ^
- His mother gave birth to him
- “Out hit” comment in 2016
- Claiming national champions status last yr
- Look at his dumb face
September 8th, 2018 at 8:40 PM ^
Um, you forgot the main reason going back to 1997.
That cunt lobbied against us to get Nebraska a share of the title, even though everyone damn well knew we would have knocked Nebraska's dicks in the dirt that year.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:46 PM ^
More precisely, following the 1998 Orange Bowl he started blubbering and crying about how his coach, Tom Osborne, was owed a retirement gift and that the voters should gift Nebraska the national championship. It didn't help that Peyton Manning and his Tennessee team didn't show up for the game.
September 9th, 2018 at 2:18 PM ^
He actually was very condescending towards Michigan. It wasn’t the fact he lobbied for his cause which would be understandable but he basically said Michigan was not a National Championship Team in a belittling way.
Whats truly irritating is Nebraska won a last second game on an illegally kicked football. It would have been reversed today.

I will upvote anytime the words, “cunt” and “Scott frost” are in the same sentence.
September 9th, 2018 at 12:02 PM ^
Who knows if ichigan would of beat Nebraska. But you claim everybody knows. Did you go door to door and take a survey? Both teams were great that year. I don't know who would of won. That's what makes the playoff system so great now, the outcome is played on the field.

How bout his whining after the 98 Orange Bowl to get the coaches poll to vote them #1? Thx Again Peyton for lying down like an old dog. Never mind they actually lost to Missouri with kicked ball. He’s a little

You obviously weren't around here 2 years ago - or in 1997
September 8th, 2018 at 7:21 PM ^
And... don’t be a little guy.
He had a walkon qb in.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:38 PM ^
For the last minute of the game. The title was glorious because the only reason why they lost was a boneheaded unnecessary roughness call called against Nebraska on a 3rd and 16 stop. The first down gave Colorado the opportunity for the go ahead score.
“Outhit”
September 8th, 2018 at 7:42 PM ^
Don't forget snapping the ball with 23 and 20 seconds left on a running clock with under three minutes left.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:22 PM ^
I know this was supposed to be outhits, but to his credit he didn't seem all that jacked up at the end of the game. Like, he wasn't screaming like a madman or anything, which feels like an improvement in his demeanor from years past.
September 9th, 2018 at 12:35 AM ^
He's completely at peace now, knowing full well that even if Nebraska finishes 4-7, he can "legitimately" claim a share of the national championship.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:22 PM ^
Both those teams are brutal. Nebraska could have won had they run down the play clock. Just awful coaching. Unreal.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:36 PM ^
I understand that take, but not running down the play clock is the reason they had time to drive down the field and take shots at the end zone after Colorado scored. Even if they ran the clock down as far as possible on their last 3 offensive plays, maybe they run off an additional 25 seconds (since they threw on 3rd down), and Colorado scored with 1:06 left.
Frost knew that a first down likely wins him the game, and not getting a first down will leave Colorado plenty of time to drive and score regardless of how much time he takes off the clock, so why eliminate the chance that Nebraska could score after Colorado did? Also, he was throwing a walk-on sophomore QB out there in a 1 point game. I'm guessing that he wanted the kid focused on executing the plays and not on Madden-level clock management.
September 9th, 2018 at 5:42 AM ^
I was watching and the announcers were making a point of adding the time as they left it on the play clock. They mentioned something like 2 minutes could have been run off leaving Colorado with like 1 min 34 instead of 3:34 on the last drive. My recollection may be a bit fuzzy, but that's what I remember. Either way in that scenario you run the play clock down. You don't assume your defense is going to blow it like that.

Hes 0-1 in rivalry games :P
September 8th, 2018 at 7:25 PM ^
Scott Frost has nothing to be ashamed of...that was a great game by both teams.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:28 PM ^
Except for the fact that his coaching cost him the game at the end...lol.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:30 PM ^
Based on the entire game I thought he did damn good with what he had to work with...did you see our two minute drill vs Notre Dame last week? yeah....people in glass houses
September 8th, 2018 at 7:39 PM ^
I did see the 2 minute drill, and if you research my post history, you can read my thoughts on that as well. Carry on..
September 8th, 2018 at 7:46 PM ^
Why would I want to look through your post history? If I want to read some cutting edge shit I just click on my own username sir!
September 8th, 2018 at 8:52 PM ^
Lol. All good. I don't want to argue with a fellow UofM fan. I took your glass house comment as a knock - yet against Notre Dame I was pretty much saying the same thing about Harbaugh. It's all good.
Nice win this week by the good guys!
September 8th, 2018 at 7:32 PM ^
I wouldn't say "great". I'd say it was interesting.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:50 PM ^
that was not a great game, unless you enjoy watching teams shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly. both those teams suck
September 8th, 2018 at 7:26 PM ^
You know NOTHING Scott Snow... er... Frost
September 8th, 2018 at 7:27 PM ^
Well seeing as how their starting QB was getting knocked around I dont think they outhit anybody.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:32 PM ^
Technically they outhit themselves into a loss with that unnecessary roughness on 3rd and 24.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:29 PM ^
I'd rather be dead than red.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:31 PM ^
In Soviet Russia red makes you dead!
September 8th, 2018 at 7:41 PM ^
Careful...Vladimir has eyes everywhere. I dont want to see you go silent on this board due to an "accident".
Just saying...
September 8th, 2018 at 7:30 PM ^
I can't figure out what happened. Why didn't Nebraska just call touchdown play at the end?
September 8th, 2018 at 7:33 PM ^
I may be the only guy on the board who feels this way, but I like what Scott Frost is doing and I hope he succeeds at Nebraska. First, it really feels like deja vu with Harbaugh at Michigan, and I want both stories have a happy ending. Second, the B1G West really needs Nebraska to be NEBRASKA! again.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:34 PM ^
Not the only person at all...Wisky needs some competition out West
September 8th, 2018 at 7:34 PM ^
I'm with you. They were my favorite Big 8 program.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:41 PM ^
I thought Nebraska looked 1,000% better than they have in the past few years. Energized, focused and innovative. Frost does not have the talent yet, but Nebraska will be good as long as he is there, and Wisconsin's dominance of the West will be strongly challenged very soon. Hopefully Frost's level of class will rise to the level of his coaching.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:22 PM ^
They were better, but mostly because they were so unbelievably terrible under Riley
September 8th, 2018 at 7:48 PM ^
I agree. I want Nebraska to be good. Scott Frost’s a dick, but in the usual “that guy’s on the other team, what an ass!” sort of way, not the horrifyingly terrible human beings way of half the B1G East. Hope he does well whenever he’s not playing Michigan.
September 8th, 2018 at 8:05 PM ^
I think he’s a good coach. I didn’t care for the whining player who groveled for a piece of a title, but he’d make my shortlist for guys I’d want coaching my favorite team if it had a vacancy.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:34 PM ^
Harbaugh's opener shouldn't have been a road game at night against Utah...
September 8th, 2018 at 7:40 PM ^
Still won his home opener.
September 8th, 2018 at 7:42 PM ^
Both teams could use a field goal kicker.
September 8th, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
All I want to know is what time the damn game in 2 weeks vs Nebraska going to be? It is literally 2 weeks to the game, and the time is TBD.
September 8th, 2018 at 10:10 PM ^
Nothing new my dude. Games times often get announced 7-10 days in advance. I don’t like it either, but it’s been that way for a long time.
September 8th, 2018 at 11:35 PM ^
Preeeeechiate it my man. I am guessing that it will be a 3:30 kickoff. Highly doubt that it is a Noon game, and I would think Wisconsin or Penn St would be more likely for a night game. Either way, I will be present and ready for Meeeeechigan to shuck the huskers!
September 9th, 2018 at 12:30 AM ^
I was happy to see them flailing around at the end, Nebraska desperation is good schadenfreud
