I don't understand the absolute refusal to adjust to anything.  Hackenburg is beating us with no pressure, yet we still won't put some pressure on him.  Off tackle runs are getting blown up every fucking time, yet we still keep doing them.  Receivers are continually running 15-20 yard routes despite an Oline that simply cannot block and an aggressive D from PSU. Gardner keeps turning the ball over, and he's still in the game.  DO SOMETHING.

You don't bring Morris in @ Penn State on the road. Maybe if the game is in hand one way or the other, fine. Not now though, you run the risk of really messing with his confidence. You could also strike gold with Morris, but man, it's a big risk when you take a look at what is behind him on the depth chart.

But hopefully we'll make adjustments and make it a better game in the second half. Only down 11.

And all of you excessively negative nancys aren't allowed back on the bandwagon or allowed to rock your wolverine gear if we win or get back on track for the season. Get lost. We're 5-0.

Yeah, It's frustrating, but no reason to whine like little b*tches.

Move Gardner back to WR and let Morris and Speight duke it out for the starting job.

Gardner, Darboh, Chesson and Funchess...that's a more than formidable receiving group for a QB, even a young one.

TURNOVERS.  PSU has one drive, all the other scores are off or turnovers.  People can call that coaching all they want, but I fail to see how turnovers are on the coaching staff.  The two INT's were HORRIBLE reads, and the fumble was poor pocket awareness/blocking.

Bottom line, when you cannot block ANYONE -- whether running or passing -- you're not going to win games.

And why can't we block AT ALL?  It's because our O line is completely clueless.  We're leaving DEs completely unblocked, and guys are turning around at the second level.  They have no idea what's going on.  And if turnovers aren't on the coaching staff, to what do you attribute them?  Why don't I see ANY other teams this bad at protecting the football?

Although I want to punch you in your BIG FUCKING HEAD, you're right.

It's baffleing, to say the least.  It's like Michigan's OL simply cannot block at the point of attack.  Every team we've played just OWNED the LOS.  It makes no sense.

By far the worst qb in big ten play.  yea borges aint great but what do you wanna do when your qb is so horrible time to play the freshman who can actually throw a ball.

Nobody things Morris should play long term, but sometimes you have to do something to wake your starter up. What is going to hurt sitting Gardner for a series? He isn't doing shit for us. Wow he threw a ball to a guy with nobody within 15 yards. Congrats bro

amazingly UM has had the ball for 20 minutes to PSU's 10.  Same # of yards.  Turnover city.

Devin is on pace for 20+ INTs alone this year - not to mention fumbles.  3 Turnovers today, on pace for 6 - so yeah.

Dear Mattison - what do you think Martinez, the 2 NW kids, Miller, anyone Indiana throws out, and even Cook is going to do when you get zero pressure.  If you wont blitz a freshman QB I guess we wont blitz anyone. (I dont blame the defense for this score, its on Devin but please)

I know we're young in a lot of areas, especially on the O-Line, but Christ, there's no way they should be this bad. Especially when you have the best left tackle in America protecting your QB.

If it's this bad against the likes of Penn State, which has a mediocre D-line at best, how bad do you think it could get against OSU, which has a pretty damn good line?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I think Funk might need to go. Youth and inexperience for your players are excuses that can only get you so far. The play of this line has just been downright awful, whichever way you slice it.

People who are calling for Morris apparently want to finish .500 ... Borges is just as guilty as Gardner. PSU's D-Coordinator has owned Borges. He's rolled coverage under Gallon every time we need a 3&Long. Part of that is on DG for not seeing the coverage. However, Michigan shouldn't be in 3rd and long every godddamn time.

yea borges isnt any good but a good qb doesnt throw balls like gardner does.  nobody seems to mention if he put that ball on the target in the endzone to funchess we had another score all he is is shoelace all over with less running skills.  he obvisously cant throw worth a shit and people still stay behind a qb as horrible as him.  we really messed up not getting harbaugh hoke is not a great coach at all

Worst O-line and Running game ive ever seen watching mich football..  Predictable play calling..  This team has regressed every year..

We are now going to lose to a freshman QB and a team with 60 scholly players.. what a joke

I'm teetering on full meltdown, but at the end of the day, we played an AWFUL first half (particularly on offense) and this game is still within reach. I'll withhold total panic, but things are really not looking good.

it's not they're moving ball and then turning it over.  They have no offense other than Garnder's legs right now.  They need the d or special teams to score points.  Heck, the defense gave them a couple short fields and all they got was a 47 yd FG.
