OT: Ole Miss expected to respond to NCAA allegations this week

Submitted by crg on

Just saw on SBNation (https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/6/6/15742134/ole-miss-nc…) that Ole Miss is expected to issue its public response to the NCAA allegations sometime this week.

It is quite remarkable how slow this organization is when it comes to enforcement and punishment of serious breaches of the rules (and the efficacy of that punishment is questionable is most of those cases).  Good thing they got on top of the satellite camp issue - that could of truly jeopardized the integrity of the sport.

If something could potentially hurt the SEC in any form or fashion it's a bad thing that must be avoided, stopped, blocked or changed.

If something could potentially benefit the SEC in any form or fashion it's good thing that must be passed, ratified and implemented post-haste.

Any questions?

The Internet reports Ole Miss is going to simply announce they're a bunch of no good cheaters, like much of the SEC.

Pete Finebaum is going to back up that statement, and waggle his ears to prove he's finally being honest.

Laquon Treadwell is going to say. "See I told you so."

The internet reports that Laquon Treadwell is going to give back all the money and easy pu...uhm, publicity.

Ole Miss:  "Yeah, we did it.  All of it.  And more!  But our coach loves his family and God, so it's OK."

NCAA:  "Sounds legit.  Nothing to see here, move along."
