OSU Playoff Competition

After watching OSU against Michigan, I really thought they were untouchable. After 3 quarters so far there are a few evident things.
#1 OSU will have it much tougher than thought against LSU and Clemson who can easily match their athleticism.
#2. Ohio State is much better coached than Michigan as evidenced by their second half defensive adjustments.
#3. Wisconsin is much better coached than Michigan. They have a great freshman safety from Inkster, Michigan. Why in the hell is this kid not starting at Michigan?

Whenever I hear someone talk about "halftime adjustments" without explaining those adjustments, I know immediately they have nothing to offer.

S&P ratings are about as useless as WAR in baseball.   Results on the field are what matter, not some arbitrary rating system someone came up with to justify "good teams" that cant prove it on the field.

  • 0-5 against Ohio State
  • No Division or Conference Championships
  • 1-3 in bowl games

These are the stats that matter.

It's hilarious that you edited this comment from "fuck you, pussy" to "hey Cam, fuck you."  You thought about that first comment for a moment and figured it wasn't quite cutting enough? Lol. You're a cute little guy.

Hmm.  An OSU troll at least has some reason (although a bad reason) to do nothing but rail against Michigan, insult the players and coaches at every turn, and insult everyone who supports Michigan.  That is a troll and a douchebag.

But a guy who does all of that, says he is not an OSU fan, and says he is a Michigan fan instead -- is worse.  He is still a troll and a giant douchebag, but also an imbecile, because only an imbecile would think the "I'm not an OSU fan" line of reasoning is a better look.

Anyway, just an observation.

In the meantime, Cam, be careful, because next he'll be starting some "Your mom" insults.

Wisconsin not getting blown out and, on paper, has less talent than Michigan.  We aren't coaching attention to detail which is why we fall apart every big game.  Don't believe this will ever change umder Harbaugh.

Let’s be clear and more specific that just funneling these contrasts between how Wisconsin performed against osu to our performance.

Wisconsin made 21 pts. We got to 27, which is normally a score that can be competitive and sometimes win a game when...

your defense doesn’t completely fall apart.

Gattis is moving us in the right direction and that was Harbaugh’s decision to humble himself and adjust to the landscape of offense in CF.

Don Brown has proven he’s a contender in the crappy ACC and only against super weak teams in the Big Ten. Against halfway decent offenses, he completely fails the sniff test.

While our players may not be as elite as OSU, we have some tremendous speed and talent on defense. The fact that we had undersized D linemen this year and that a linebacker led our team with sacks and pressures says a lot. We lost a great coach in Mattison. Had Harbaugh made Mattison D coordinator, I believe OSU would still score, but not be putting up 56 and 62 embarrassing points in a single game.

I think we fired him in 2016, hired him in 2017, fired him with extreme prejudice in 2018, hired him on Sept. 22nd, 2019, and fired him today during the 2nd half.

The reactionary contingent of the Michigan fan base is working toward the goal of hiring and firing defensive coordinators after every play of every game.
