ONE Crystal Ball flipped to Ohio State for Chris Evans

Submitted by Mattavious on

Harbaugh can't close!!!! /s   I just saw that a Jeremiah Sharpe flipped his crystal ball to Ohio State for Chris Evans.  I am just wondering if anyone has heard any rumblings at all.  As far as I know, no visits have been set up.  Is this guy just figuring that because Ohio State offered, that's good enough to sway his prediction?  It is just ONE crystal ball but I'm hoping this isn't a "where there's smoke, there's fire" kind of thing.  I know this class is going to be amazing when it's all said and done, just curious if anyone has heard anything.

His tweet was a red "O" followed by three lightning bolts.

I forget, was he being recruited as a RB, CB, or slot receiver for UM? If he wants running back, he may have been looking elsewhere once Walker committed. Of course, OSU is already stacked at young RBs so not sure that makes sense.

Sounds like there are a bunch of people in this thread who are speculating about something they know nothing about. Allen Trieu said Evans isn't even sure if he's going to visit OSU. Offering someone three weeks before they sign doesn't exactly say we want you.

Also the guy who flipped his "crystal ball" is a massive OSU homer and a complete douchebag on twitter. He doesn't know shit.

You block every Michigan fan who disagrees with you on twitter then read our board almost every single day looking for something to take back to 11 warriors so you can make fun of how 'delusional" were are. Either stop being a hypocritical douchebag or fuck off. Pick.

I block people who attack me personally. Or who favorite or RT personal attacks on me.

I dont read MgoBlog mostly because it is too smart for my liking.

I have about 25 posts on 11W in the 3 years I have had an account there and never once mentioned Mgo or UM in any of my posts there.

I wouldnt have even known about this thread except someone told me admittedly on 11W lol.

I have lots of UM fan followers and I follow many of them back. I never attack players/coaches/or fans. I use stats to paint pictures and it drives people to attack me. I cant help that but I also wont put up with personal attacks because they are well personal :)

If I blocked you tell me your twitter name and I will unblock you gladly if you want me too.

Bullshit. You block any Michigan fan who even remotely disagrees with you. I would know because I was one of them. I actually enjoy a good troll every now and then but you are the king of being able to dish it out but not being able to take it.

I dont know who you are so I cant argue with you... All I can tell you is why I block people. Tell me who you are and I will show you exactly why I blocked you.

If you dont care than move on. I will be fine either way. Clearly me blocking you hit a nerve.

He waits till the end to start having players commit or even offer so it looks like OSU is gaining steam. He said it his self that he waits as he did at Florida

I'm not sure I am as quick as others to make the Pie for Evans trade. Not only is Evans a better athlete, he offers more position versatility. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that Pie Young is not a good athlete, I am saying that Evans is a dynamic athlete.

Also, losing Evans to our biggest rival will sting for sure. I am hoping this is not a Gareon Conley situation. O what could have been with him as a starting corner opposite JD.

I am under the opinion that there is no way Jim Harbaugh loses this kid without a fight but with OSU being a dream offer and them in a more desperate position, who knows what will happen.

Either way, It is going to be a busy last couple weeks of this recruiting cycle and it will be fun to watch coach Harbaugh close on prospects that seemed to slip the other way in the past. i.e Gary, Long, Crawford

Pretty sure that is his dream school, etc. It was always known if OSU offered we might lose him. It just so happens they did. We'll see if he sticks to his childhood fav or the school that saw his talent first.

I had no idea who Jeremiah Sharpe was until I cracked open Google, but not surprisingly, he is the recruiting analyst for "Men Of The Scarlet And Grey". Interestingly, his overall accuracy is 33 out of 66, which is good for an overall #23 ranking among analysts who do crystal ball predictions, if I am reading this right. 50% isn't jaw-droppingly impressive, of course, but apparently there are people worse at this who do it anyway...like most professions really.
