I cannot remember exactly where it is in the handbook, but the article is correct - there is a little-known rule which states that the whole concept of "countable hours" does not apply if the practices / training occur during an intstitution's vacation period. I am sure no one has ever used this to their advantage during bowl season. *obvious sarcasm*

Get Jim Harbaugh

I'm putting money on OSU winning this game. Why? Because that has been my sports life since 2001. I hate them so much but they get everything. I have no doubt that OSU will pull this win out of their ass and that is exactly why I will not watch a single second of this game. I am just so sick of seeing OSU in the spotlight.

Get Jim Harbaugh

I hate how literally everything falls into place for those fucking assholes. They get a relatively unknown 1AA coach in 2001. They then beat us in his first year and in his second, they win a title. They would then go on to 9-1 against us under him. Then they have the tattoo thing, so we all thought this is finally their time to have shittiness. Well, they have one down year at 6-7, but then, OF COURSE, they get Urban fucking Meyer as their next coach, who still has yet to lose a regular season conference game and has only lost three fucking games. To top it off, they luck out by getting into the playoff, miraculously beat Alabama, and is now in their fourth title game this century. What the fuck have they been doing that we have not been this century? This is seriously fucked up.

Nothing like poorly-designed rules enforced illogically to highlight why those guys in blazers on the sidelines with stupid smiles on their faces deserve their 6-figure salaries.

It probably won't matter too much in the end, but yeah, this shouldn't happen.

I don't care if  "it's great for the Big 10!"  I won't cheer the Buckeyes in this game. It's bad enough we've been kicked in the 'nads by them most of the 21st century.  Give their irritating fans and their trolliest of social media trolls a national championship and it'll make them insufferable to levels we never knew possible.

I can't wait til our jackhammer of a head coach gets our team into a position to shut them all up. Columbus. East Lansing. Everywhere.

You have a QB who has taken 3rd team reps all year and now he has unlimited prep time.  Not to mention you get extra reps for 2nd team guys in case there's an injury throughout the week or during the game.
