get royalties whenever it is played/broadcast.  It originated in the early 70sSI ran an article in 1984 on it.  Back then it was worth $1000 a year in ASCAP royalties for Joe Carl and Al Ahronheim.  UM article from 2015 on the origins, with pix of the arrangement.  Order the sheet music here.  There was an article about one of those two sitting and watching football games to keep track of when it was played and by whom, but I can't find it.

I really don't get why that true frosh was on the floor at that point in the game. And 6-11 on free throws for the YEAR?!? With your best free throw shooter in-bounding the ball!?!?
