More social experiment: What are our chances of beating MSU?

Submitted by blueblueblue on
I am trying a little QUASI-experiment (or a survey perhaps?) regarding the MGoBlog readership's collective gasp of where this Wolverine team was yesterday. To start out I ask: In retrospect, to what extent was Michigan able to beat, in your (or your mother's, banker's, barber's, or pet's) opinion, MSU? Please give your answer in the form of a number from 1 to 5: 1 = none, 5 = a really big number. Calls of anything other than a 1 or a 5 will be disregarded when compiling the data, simply because I don't believe you can think in extremes or absolutes, and also because I want to bias my data. I, for one, think the answer is 1 based solely on the outcome of the game.

The game definitely didn't turn out as I expected - that is to say, I was expecting rain slowing down their passing attack, and a more energetic effort on our part. However, given that we got to overtime, I'm gonna go with 50%.

5. If the real question is what are the chances of us winning the game considering it went to OT, therefore the first 60 minutes don't mean much. You say 2,3,4 aren't acceptable and we have Tate and they don't, so if we do it again - 5. If I understand your meaning sir.

When I was a kid, my Grandmother took my mom's side of the family on a Caribbean cruise. (By the way, do you say ca-RIB-ian or Cari-BE-an? I guess it doesn't really matter.) Anyhoo, we stopped at St. John, and some guy there cut down a coconut with his machete, chopped it in half, and gave me half. It was pretty cool, although I heard that coconut milk is high in saturated fat.

On the one hand, MSU's backs are up against the wall. It's also a rivalry game and Michigan's first road game of the year. On the other hand, they have the Dantonio and we have the Forcier. I predict a tie.
