Hurst needed to come back because he had never started and needed to show he could be consistent. Plus he was projected to go mid to late rounds. Peppers was a two-year starter and assumed 1st round lock when he entered. And Peppers has deposited 6.5MM into his bank this year and has another 3+MM guaranteed coming to him. Hard to turn down nearly $10,000,000 to play a game.
