So if Caris didn't have to go to the bench with 2 fouls in the first half, would we have won this game?  His performance in the 2nd half was phenomenal!

this was my first time getting to actually watch him and it was not good.

In fairness, practice is just practice - this is his first high D1 action and it takes time to get used to the speed of this level.

He's definitely not used to games played at this speed.

Let's hope that's some of what we're seeing out of him right now.

Irvin and spike got nothing so far. Team leaders need to play a much bigger role. With that said good comeback but still a work in progress

First of all we didn't miss this many shots when we were good and when we did we had Morgan or McGary to clean it up. With hand picked big men by Beilein in Doyle and Donnal, we have no shot when we miss to rebound. Can we ever just get someone highly recruited coming in. Football is doing it.

I had to go back to work at halftime and was glad to leave. I have been around basketball in some capacity for 35 years and I say with confidence, this team is not good. I had high hopes coming into this year but I see no leadership, chemistry, or spark with this team. They are quite content to dribble down and chuck a brick or watch Caris. Running offense and playing offense is not optional if a team is going to win.

The comeback was encouraging but man tonight looked like Levert and a bunch of scrubs. It hurts to say but it's true. I still believe we have the talent to be a good team but guys need to start improving. Leadership is also an issue. I'm not gonna give up because I know Beilein can coach his ass off but this start of the season has been frustrating. Oh well, at least we got HARBAUGH! Beat Ohio!

and dissapointed...I really thought we were going to be good this year...we clearly are not...poor defense..poor shooting missed freethrows,no offense what so ever except Levert..The rest of the team looks timid...I dont know .I really missed the boat on this one...we will have ZERO quality nonconference wins which is going to put us in a verhy bad position to make the tournament...what happened? 4 games in and I am not feeling good about this year at all

Yeah more internets for games. Thats how i knew we would lose. A win and we are on ESPN. Wasnt happening. Can we cash in Leverts 3 fouls for another game? Its kind of like saving first half timeouts for the end of the game in football. Smh

Missed out on some huge recruits over the past couple years and we still don't have a true big man. It'll be an uphill battle for at least another 2 years. Happy Thanksgiving. Go Blue and hammer the bucknuts!

Got to try to make lemonade out of lemons and take these next two games. The competition should be a little lower.

Still time to make a run and the season is young despite the team disappointing so far.

I believe the talent is there it's just more people than just Caris have to show up. Also team defense has to improve.

Anyway just get better every day and let's see what happens.

Another game where Beilein's autobench policy absolutely fucking killed Michigan.

The problem is Michigan doesn't play defense or rebound the ball well enough to withstand something like that.

I'm not sure why people are surprised. Recruiting rankings matter. The guy refuses to go toe to toe with the big boys and we get left with scrubs who have no power 5 offers and expect them to magically be 1st round picks.

After last year if Beilein doesn't turn it around his seat better heat up. This is a god damn joke.

I have been a big JB supporter but this 2 foul autobench is changing my view. He is coaching scared and hurting his team. Period. Michigan was +3 for the game when Levert was on the court. As poorly as everyone played Michigan probably wins this game if our best player was not disqualified for over 8 minutes by his own coach!!! Its indefensible. Points in the 1st half count as much as points in the 2nd half, and many times a player might not pickup more fouls so in essence you are creating the worst case scenario by benching him. WTF
