Michigan/Ohio Tickets now under $100 (each) on StubHub

Submitted by Mr. Yost on

3 weeks ago, the lowest ticket was $155...

I'm posting this, hoping that some MICHIGAN fans buy these tickets hoping to experience the Big House.

Say what you want about the game, the team or its offensive coordinator. However, we, as fans...can show up and cheer hard.

I will be there tailgating... Probably my last game I'll be attending as a season ticket holder, I'm down with this idea!

(Not saying I'm done going, just done donating a ton of money to get tickets to see a team underperform, I'll be purchasing individuals next season)

Most of you guys are a total embarassment.  Watch the game, support the team.  End of story.  This thread defines the term "fairweather fan."

If I didn't live on the west coast, I would snatch up a ticket to "the game".  I've never been to "the game", and I don't care how sorry our offense is, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity for anything.

Now, I've been to my fair share of games at the Big House, but I've never been to MSU, ND, or tOSU.  Those games are on my bucket list.  I think folks that get to go to games year in year out forget how special some of these rivalry games are - regardless of the outcome.

I like most of you think we'll probably be taken out behind the woodshed and beaten to death, but.... it coud be 1969 all over again too.

Just saying...

Here's an idea:  Have Borges cough up some of that Third-Highest-OC-in-the-country money and buy up a bunch of these tickets.

Then give them to a bunch of young kids who will never be able to afford to see a Michigan - Ohio State game in person.

You know, develop the fan base for the future.  We're going to be really good someday, I'm told.

But he's a big OSU fan (he's originally from Cleveland). This year I told him I couldn't take him because he will wear red. He got kinda pissed. After the travesty I saw at Michigan stadium in the 2009 OSU game, I vowed to help ensure it never happens again, even if means that I get disowned by my family.

Remember in the mgoblog preseason preview the section on "Are we in for another 10-year war"? LOL, looks more like the start of a ten year genocide. That being said I will be there with a FIRE BORGES sign held high and cheering only for the sake of the players especially the seniors. This senior class has been through a lot and the least the fans can do that have already bought tickets is to show up and cheer.

waiting for later in the week to make the decision.  If i can't find a Mich fan to give them to i will just burn them.

Michigan fans have been good since Hoke came in.  But I expect to see a sea of red next saturday.

This will NOT be 2009 all over again.

As I recall, we were in that game until the 4th quarter.

The only thing left unsettled by the 4th quarter will be whether Urban STOPS at "half-a-hundred."

Seriously, is Gardner even going to play??

I won't sell my tickets to a buckeye, or boo or leave early. I'll just speak disparagingly about the coaching staff on the ride home. The players, especially the seniors, deserve our support.

I'll just make this a service announcement for myself real fast.

I am a student at IU. I would love to go to the Michigan game. I'm coming up to Michigan this Wednesday and staying through Sunday for the holidays. If you are a student(or general population/alum/whatever), and want to sell your ticket at a reasonable price, I am definitely interested. My fiancee and I are huge fans and we'd love to get a chance to set in the student section(or anywhere). You would have to get the tickets validated if they're student tickets. If you want to sell them, my email is here: [email protected]

Thanks and Go blue!

I'm in Michigan and might actually try to go.  Is there any reasonable chance of tickets bought on the street, or will Ohio fans be sucking them up?

Every M fan that buys a ticket will prevent a damn OSU fan from showing up.

My HS best friend is driving into town for the holidays, and is looking for at least 2 tickets.

She and I are in our heart attack years, but we will be there!

2 tickets for less than $200? I'm trying to take my gf, but we're also trying to go to the hockey game on Friday AND do Black Friday...so I can't spend a ton. She's never been to Michigan Stadium so really I'm willing to sit anywhere as long as we're in. Cheering hard for Michigan.

I started a thread saying that tickets are now under $100 each so people like myself could buy them if interested.

I was born in Detroit and grew up in Ann Arbor, I'm a diehard Michigan fan, I moved away to go to college and have always lived elsewhere.

I've been to the Big House countless times, but I have only been twice since graduating from high school and leaving the city.

SO...I wanted to bring the news of the tickets to a MICHIGAN site so people like myself, who are home for the holidays can scoop up some tickets and root for MICHIGAN.

I'm certainly going to take advantage of the cheaper ticket just for the experience of going to the game and rooting on the maize and blue. I'd hope others in my shoes would do the same. In two years that same ticket could be 3-4 times what it is this time. I'm not in a position to afford that ticket to attend a football game.

Why ask on here? Because I may be able to get a better price from someone on MGoBlog than buying off StubHub...and in both cases, the tickets would be going to a Michigan fan...ME. Also, we have some MGoBloggers that refuse to put their tickets on Stubhub because they don’t know who is buying them.

If you read through this thread, you’d see that one poster said that he actually tried this. He tried to sell on MGoBlog to ensure it was an M fan, but had no luck. He sold them on StubHub, likely to an Ohio fan. By me looking on this thread, maybe both myself and the seller can get what we want...win-win for everyone.

Please tell me if I am adequately answering your condescending question or if you would like me to elaborate further.

That much to pay for this game and sit there in the cold? You can only vote with your dollar in this new age of bullshit so please do not go. Vote with your money and send a message. Our expectations are high, this record is unacceptable.

I had to sell my tickets to not lose an insane amount of money to watch the Buckeyes destroy the Wolverines. I bought tickets for 470 a piece section 22 row 35 the day they went up for sale, and have watched how these crashed and burned while the team did the same.  I live in Columbus and at least can save gas, hotel and parking and thankfully got 500 back from some Buckeye fans. Probably my last chance to have such great seats in my life for the game but at this point I already know we will lose.  I have gone through many downs as a Michigan fan that sadly I am at a point that I am now numb.  Hopefully Borges is at least fired and I also would like Dave Brandon fired as well. DB is commercializing UM football to much and this will all backfire with the shit product we have seen the last 6 years.
