Did Brooks not get his tooth put back in?

No guess that didn't work. Need fake one apparently.

lol I saw that goofy gap grin as well.
Brooks has been amazing this year.

Maybe it's the low production for the bigs that made me feel nervous. I'm so used to Dickinson &/or Davis &/or Wagner &/or Johns taking care of business, seeing their shots not falling felt awkward. But as the commentators pointed out, the others stepped up.

Got 16 pts from the center position... not bad.

definitely felt closer than it was... not sure if it was the chaotic energy purdue played with or Michigan's turnovers...
At the end of the day, a very good road win at Purdue...all you can ask for...

We are so good at basketball. It's crazy. It's like we got subs nearly every single game.

Great road win tonight...Livers stepped up big time.

We need to get specific with the ref bashing. Teh short haried guy was god awful and wanted to make sure Purdue covered. He always seemed to be under the rim when purdue on offense
The tall longer haired blonde , Souffer had a good game. He seemed to be calling some makeup calls
The third guy I had no opinion
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:13 PM ^
Every second chance opportunity Purdue got was going to be an automatic foul on Michigan. Very frustrating.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:16 PM ^
Okay, it wasn’t just me thinking the same thing.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:15 PM ^
Agreed. Two of the refs seemed fine. The short haired guy is Paul Szelc, and he was just terrible, and only in Purdue's favor. Google "paul szelc michigan" and you find some recent terribly-called games that Michigan ended up losing when they didn't have to. I'm just happy we were so much better than Purdue tonight that it didn't matter.

Szelc I mean on he Livers block/charge is the definition of the block. Took it in the chest outside the RZ set. Only make that a block if you predetermined the call. Was his call and he kicked it
Caan tell the the other 2 refs frustration, 2 makeups calls .. Offensive fouls on purdue inbounds plays.
2 Offensive calls on Dickinson one was highly questionable, didn't see who made it. His last foul was a joke but well into garbage time

Johns was very impressive denying entry passes to Edey. I have no other takeaways from this sloppy-ass ref show.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:18 PM ^
How Edey didn’t foul out after 5 minutes of “play” is a thing. ??♂️
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:08 PM ^
That’s a good win. A really good win. But the officials are garbage. Why do they extra suck whenever we play Purdue?
Very impressive that we could win like that despite turning the ball over so much.

That didnt feel like our other double digit wins over a good opponent. But the team beat both the boilermakers and the refs. Well done outlasting both.

Paul Szelc did this game, the bullshit OSU game last year where Simpson got a flagrant for falling down, costing Michigan the game, and he also game Beilein two T's and threw him out of a game at halftime. He also worked the game @ Maryland this year, and I think he was the one that T'd up Hunter. I think I even caught the other refs throwing out a couple make-up calls the other way, like the one on the inbounds right after Davis picked up his 4th foul for letting Edey climb him.

I've been meaning to ask, OP---why OT?
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:18 PM ^
It was explained upthread as Open Thread. Not a good convention, though, as it confused everyone.
January 22nd, 2021 at 9:29 PM ^
At first, I thought he was suggesting we were in overtime.

Right I thought it mean Off Topic
