As a former Big Red myself, tremendous kudos to the UM football program.
Those are not tears, my eyes are just sweating. RIP Big Meech.

For those who question the culture on this team and program (leer over at Cade and All), just simply don't get it....
Very nice honor...

not to be a contrarian, but Cade handed off the ball to Meechie on his TD.
let's not use this space to take deserved attention from Meechie. there are other places for that.

When they had the story about Meechie, and he broke down saying he didnt want to die....that got me. RIP Meechie
I know he has a ton of support with the players. Win this all for Meechie!

Great minds think alike! just saw your comment. it was a really difficult thing to hear.

That hit me really hard, as my mom said the exact same thing just before she passed (of course, she was much older).
RIP Meechie.

Man, I watched a video when he was crying.. talking about how he had so much more life to live and didn't want to die... really difficult stuff. Hope they have that added inspiration in a couple weeks! GO BLUE!

It was gut wrenching to watch someone go through what he had to, thinking about it puts tears in my eyes. Life is beyond cruel sometimes.

A very classy move, what we've grown to expect from Michigan Athletics.
RIP Meechie

I didn’t know him but I bet he would think that’s the coolest thing.
Love this stuff.

Nice gesture by the team. He seemed like a good kid with so much potential that he was robbed of. Osteosarcoma is a bitch to treat. Fuck cancer.

RIP young man 🙏

Any chance I can buy this sticker? I'd love to add this to my collection. And if the money can be contributed to his cause, that would be even better.

This makes me smile. Very nice tribute.

Rest easy Big Meechie. You're gone too soon.

Wearing a sticker is a nice gesture, but we all (the players, coaches, staff, fans, etc.) have a chance to truly prove that we are "there for him" where it really matters. A helmet sticker(and subsequent discussion) makes good PR, but the young man would probably be far more appreciative if we all could help his family (young widow and now fatherless toddler).
I know there was a GoFundMe for hospital expenses, but if there is a fund to help his family that would be the way to go now. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything... somewhere else here may know of one.
