META: Since the culling . . .

Since the culling that took place shortly after the OSU game, this board has been immensely more pleasant and fun to be a part of.  Getting rid of all the UNACCEPTABLES was a brilliant move!  It's so refreshing to know that I can come here and actually (gasp) have a good time talking about my favorite football program!  What a wonderful change!

So, I just want to say THREE CHEERS TO THE BLESSED MODS!

As a few others have noted, I have actually seen a recent uptick in very obvious trolls. That being said, post-OSU, this board has definitely improved. So,  HOORAY!

Also, more than one post on the same subject with a different take isn't the end of the world either.

There was so many nasty comments, it was becoming very hard to keep coming back.

Very smart move by Brian as sooner or latter people would have started leaving (or at least minimizing their page view).

I feel much better about this time than a couple years ago when 5 or 6 long time posters were taken down in one night of outrage.

My hunch as to why its been more pleasant around here the last 2 weeks is because Michigan hasn't lost a football game. If Michigan losses the bowl game, expect meltdowns, anger, finger pointing, and bannings.

Post something really offensive, if you can’t your banned, if they ban you for posting it then you know you were good. Kinda like blowing up your mailbox with M-80’s, if the cops are there in 5 minutes or less, you have good police coverage, if they show up 30-45 minutes latter and bring their own M80’s then you know you’re in Alabama.
