Does anyone find it incredible that his name is Cam Johnson-Pitt and that he went to Pitt? I mean, what are the odds?!?!? WOW!!!!

2 years of eligibility is unique.  Does Beilein prioritize this since he can get 2 years out of Cam?  Or would he rather get a single year transfer so he can bring in younger recruits for the future?

But it affects 2019.  So beilein will have to consider whether it's better to have a 5th year Cam Johnson versus a freshman.  He will need to look at the 2019 recruits and figure out what he can realistically land and whether or not he feels it's better to risk losing a 2019 player (4 years of eligibility) for that extra grad year.

because he has 2 years left which means it doesn't affect 2019 recruiting class at all. He'll play 2017-2018 season (2017 recruit) and 2018-2019 season (2018 recruit). He only affect 2017 recruiting but getting him will allow JB to bring Isaiah Livers along slowly while he build up bulk and expand on his skillset.

Impressive list of suitors, really smart, can play right away, can rebound, double-digit scorer, and 2 years of eligibility?  Sounds like a no-brainer, especially if the Bamba recruitment falls through.

at first I thought that meant 3.9 games per assist, what a ball hog!

It's not often you get grade-point-average included in a guy's stat line.

Grad transfers right now (Alstork, Johnson) if they said they'd come to Michigan tomorrow instead of waiting on a 1 percent chance of Bamba.

Everyone and their mother knows he ain't coming. Get the most value now before it's too late instead of waiting for the miracle.

We will need some more scoring guards. Beilein seems to have found a couple good ones. I'd love to see us take both but that may lead to an Ibi transfer.

and immediately thought 6'8 Just A Shooter sounds exactly like Duncan.  Interesting that kenpom's algorithms even say the same.  Have to believe his defense is better, but this guy seems a lot more redundant on the roster than Alstork.  I would prefer Alstork as more of a creator/slasher.

Although this offer might be a good sign that Mathews is that guy and that shooters around him is all we need.

Or a bad sign that DJ is likely gone.  Ugh.
