Given our issues running the ball and Walker's potential, this is terrific. He gets an early start on our schemes, pass-blocking, and working behind the OL. Really improves his chances of being productive early, IMO. On the flipside, I expect some transfer news after the bowl game. There's just not enough room in that backfield for all of these highly touted backs.

That's great news. Good for him. Go Blue. Help is on the way. Maybe the offensive line will learn to run block next year after a second year in the system and Walker can flourish. Once Harbaugh's running component emerges onto this team it will open up the entire offense.

Call me crazy, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna need a broiling pan for a good reason and chilli peppers and Dave said I should probably get a robot that would work better than a robot chicken

the attention paid to even the tiniest of details.

Like the little shoutout in the twitter announcement to the High School and H.S. Coach.

You think a coach isn't going to appreciate that, even subconsciously? #buildingpipelines

This 2016 team will have by far the highest expectations in the last decade. My main concern is whether or not our OL will take a significant step forward. Without a consistent run game, it's really tough to win the B1G, and without a consistent OL, it's really tough to have an effective run game. I think they will take a pretty big step this year in terms of run blocking. Bother year with solid coaching should do wonders. That, combined with the fact we bring back the majority of our starters and may even add a seasoned grad transfer. It's all about MSU/OSU next year, even more so than any other year I can remember (last time we were this competitive, and even most other times through history, MSU has been irrelevant). I think next year is where our superior talent, the Harbaugh effect, combined with the fact MSU will be missing some MAJOR contributors will lead to a W against them. OSU will obviously be as tough as ever, but I wouldn't bet against Jim Harbaugh after getting his ass whooped this year. He'll be foaming at the mouth with revenge on his mind.

The thought of a Peters/Walker backfield fills me with the exact same fantasies that the thought of a Morris/Green backfield did at this time three years ago.

Pretty confident that with 100% more HARBAUGH and 100% less Hoke/Borges, this one will work out better.

than the day he commited. Now we know the Noles can't sway, blackmail or any number of things to get him to stay home and not come. Signed sealed and delivered. Thank you again Mr. Walker.
