Jean Delance to Transfer

Submitted by somewittyname on

Apparently Jean Delance is transferring from UT after just one season in which he played in a couple games. He was down to UM and UT before choosing the Longhorns. They have a hole at RT, so it's a bit puzzling. Maybe not as much of a recruiting loss as it seemed.

we ever get our hopes up for transfers.  Nothing against anyone that posts about former recruits or players at a position of need, but we almost never end up with those players.  Ty Isaac was the only player that came to mind that acutally went Blue after transferring.  Then again, anything to help pass these next 18....17 days away.

Hmmm...so does he go to USF where Strong is now?

August is a weird time to announce after practice has started everywhere. You'd think he'd have a plan in place by now unless something just happened. Can he even get admitted into any Power5 schools for 2017-2018 this late so that he can get his transfer year sitting out done this year? Or does he have to do a JUCO year and burn another year of eligibility before sitting out the following season?

Until you know the why(s) and the wherefore(s), it is hard to say if you are interested or not.  I am confident the staff has at least some finger on the pulse of what the status is. This is Harbaugh fer god sakes!

I recall someone saying Coach Harbaugh thought Jean Delance was a future first round draft pick before he committed to Texas, his most recent follow on twitter is Coach, Coach followed him back as well, if distance isn't a factor anymore I would almost say he's going to come to Michigan
