Hire Urban Meyer...He's a coaching savant

To the "leaders and best crowd" - we haven't won a B1G title in 15 years. Wake up, it's a new era, and the Harbaugh train has gone off the rails.
Meyer is slimy and arrogant enough to do this - especially if he feels OSU pushed him out, and I and I am slimy enough to welcome him with open arms.

I agree. I also think this could be the beginning of the end for Harbaugh at U of M. He, the fan base, and the players just don't seem to be having fun, but tbh, our next coach is probably going to be a gamble on a lower-tier coach who's starting to get hot, like the ISU guy.
It's much easier to win at one of the perennial southern programs and OSU (and not just because of bag men and academics, although those are factors). That's why top coaches go there and not to Michigan. Harbaugh was our best shot at a big name because he was coming home, but I don't think we'll get anyone like that ever again unless they have a similar tie to the school. Like I said, group of 5. Best we're going to be able to do is probably a Brian Kelly-type of hire. Get someone who's taking a group of 5 to new heights and hope it works out better than when we tried it with RR and Hoke.
I want Harbaugh to go after grinding my teeth through the last 5 games, but I don't know if I want to go through another shitty coaching search that may not pay off, either. Might be better just to let the guy string us along because...a former OSU coach with two national titles is never going to fucking come to Michigan.

Man, I used to despise you guys, but still always respected you. Now it’s just turned to pity. Do some of you guys even listen to yourselves? Everyone that has success cheats, and poor Michigan doesn’t win because they are the only clean school. Ok. You guys have a roster with Daxton, DPJ, Collins, Charbonnet, a five star QB, and on and on. Never mind the delusion that allows you to believe that you manage to land players of that caliber with morals and ethics, while apparently everybody else must pay to get their elite players. But setting that aside, you got curb stomped by a school that pulls in classes ranked in the 30’s, but poor Michigan can’t win because everyone else cheats. If it isn’t the refs, it’s the bagmen everyone else apparently has, or the high academic standards only you have, or the fact every school that lands a good player other than you apparently must pay for them. Such delusion, it’s unreal.

For one, he doesn’t have any all out loyalty to OSU, he didn’t attend the university or play there. For two, he likes money and Michigan could definitely pay him. For three, it is one of his dream jobs. It would also boost the hell out of the rivalry with a teacher vs student type of feel with Meyer vs Day. Hell, Mattison has a natty title with Michigan and it didn’t stop him from coaching at two of Michigan’s rivals. If a coach can get the job done and they’re available, you try to get them. That Michigan man shit needs to go and so does that Urban doesn’t have integrity shit. All good coaches are usually assholes to soft whiny mfs. So what he beat Michigan when his job was coaching OSU. Saban sure ain’t losing sleep for kicking LSU’s ass every year.

I bet if the money would be right, Meyer would go anywhere. Plus, he would get greater respect here if he came here and turned the program around. Look at Saban, he went from LSU to Alabama (rivals in the SEC). The LSU crowd roasted him for going to Alabama after the Miami debacle. I’m not saying I believe Meyer is coming here, but it’s not impossible. Also, OSU fans at first didn’t want Meyer because he toasted them in the N.C. a few years prior while at Florida. Besides, Meyer doesn’t hate Michigan. That’s the narrative he had to follow because of the delusional OSU fan base follows (no Ms and won’t say “Michigan”). It’s just like our delusional fan base that doesn’t believe it’s possible for Meyer to come here.
