Hello: Isabelle Kistler (Thanksgiving Baby Class of 2033 Commit)

Submitted by Blueinsconsin on

The 20.5 inch, 6 lb 7oz Isabelle "Izzy" Kistler committed to Michigan as a class of 2033 way to early enrollee (I think it's 2033, I can't do math right now) at 11:01pm on November 25th, 2015.  "I was just glad to get out so I could watch The Game on Saturday", said the new commit.  After many "hails" and fist pumps, Isabelle said, "Beat Ohio", the promptly took a nap.

Within ~24 hours of my daughter entering this world a couple of years ago my first thought was to write a witty Hello: post to highlight her birth to the mGoBlog posters and readers. Wasn't that what you were concerned with too?

Just a heads up - - MgoOnesies are 70% off at Underground Printing for Black Friday.  Get her geared up for the game!  And I have to disagree with the previous poster who said the diapers should be green and white.  The diapers - - or diaper cover at least - - should definitely be khaki.

have won the greatest life has to offer.  Congrats.  And you'll be able to tell her she was born the day Michigan basketball turned around their 2015-16 season (we all hope).

My second was born the day after Navarre, et al, came from WAY behind to beat Minnesota on a Friday night.  I also remind her that the only way I remember her birthday is because it's the day after the biggest come from behind win in Michigan history.  Twelve years later, she's talking about going to Michigan.

Wishing you and yours healthy and happy.

You've already got her talking about going to Michigan at 12 because of the coincidences of Michigan-related sporting achievements around the date she was born. I wish her to be a Michigan graduate someday, as much as I wish 1/50 of the shit I said I'd do when I was 12 came to fruition (astronaut Nobel Heisman winner, anyone?).
