Fred Richard (UM Gymnastics)
UM sophomore and reigning NCAA All Around (and parallel bars and high bar) champion Fred Miller took home the All Around bronze medal in the World Championships yesterday. He's only the 4th American to medal in the AA, and the first since 2010 (not to mention the youngest ever American to earn any individual medal, and the youngest competitor in the field at 19 years 160 days).
The US team (which also includes UM senior and 2022 NCAA All Around champ Paul Juda) took bronze, reaching the podium for the first time since 2014.
Richard will be competing in the apparatus finals on the floor tomorrow, and Juda will compete on the vault and the high bar.

This exact line/format popped into my head as soon as I saw the board title and I was so pleased to click on it and find that it was comment #1. Well done.

It's Poor Richard's
Dunder Mifflin crew hangout. The place that dickhead Roy and his dickhead brother trashed and Kevin ended up bartending. I just googled it - it's actually a real place!

I kind of want to come down on you hard core, but this is MGoBlog and there's a ~11% chance you're being sarcastic

I know someone named Richard Miller but I don't think he has anything to do with this.

This is great news!
But, as a general rule, I don't trust anyone with two first names as their entire name.
