DiCaprio wearing the Block M
I am not a big celeb follower so I don't know if he does this often, but apparently Leonardo DiCaprio was wearing the block M cap at the iron man opening. http://www.showbizspy.com/wp-content/gallery/leodic/ctr-000031.jpg
Don't ask me how I came upon this, it was a yahoo link.
Love to see random people in Michigan, Lions, Tigers, etc. hats
That link is from a post a month before you became a member here. How did you even know about it?
You don't have to be a member to read the site. A lot of people read the site regularly and never register.
Leo is a bit of a hat whore it appears (someone also posted a pic of him wearing a WVU hat, so clearly he's not a major M fan) but you're right, it's always cool to see celebs in M gear, and this is new, so it's worth posting, IMO. Since he's donned the Block M a few times (another pic was of him at a Lakers game) it must be at least one of his regulars.
Perhaps we need to probe deeper? Maybe his fascination is with RR? Just, you know, saying.
If I were Leo, I'd have more of a fascination with Bar Rafaeli than RR
Well played, WolvinLA2...As you currently live in LA (I say 'currently live in' instead of 'are from' because I am under the impression that nobody is actually from LA) I will defer to you on all things Dicaprio.
Yeah, I wouldn't defer to me just because I live in LA, I really don't follow that stuff.
I'm actually from Michigan, so you were correct in your wording.
him twice at the relatively new sports bar Goal and have some friends that have seen him there as well.
Maybe next time I will just have to ask him if he reads MgoBlog and tell him to Fuck.Shit.Up in his next movie.
Or I wont do that at all... either way
I have only seen him once in my 5 years out here walking out of a restaurant I was walking into. He was wearing a NY Skankees hat by the way.
@UMdad- yeah i wasn't a member until a few months later but I did read the site. I also wasn't trying to be a dick and point out a previous post, just trying to be clever and pointing out that he's been seen donning the block M before.
I also love when celebs wear the M stuff. Also I love when this occurs:
by this question. I read at least half a dozen Mich blogs every day and don't "belong" to any of them - and have for years.
(It was only when I kept talking to the screen that I decided to finally become a member and join in on the conversation.)
Hell, I still hit the old MZone on occasion to read up on some old jewels.
answer back?
but it's cool. It was all rhetorical.
the old MZone. That's the blog that first turned me on to the world of blogs. Yost was hilarious.
He frequents the SI.com photo section since he attends a lot of basketball games. I have seen him wearing a Michigan, Notre Dame, and Cal hat, so I wouldn't put any stock into this, but his new movie inception looks pretty cool.
Maybe he likes dark blue, or academics.
Although the WVU hat would suggest against the latter.
Just when I thought he couldn’t get any dreamier
Leonardo DiCaprio is Fielding Yost in:
Point a Minute: The Fielding Yost story
But who does Russel Crowe play? He's too old to play a player...And who will play Heston?
as Rich Rodriguez. Don't tell me he can't do it, guy can pull of every role in the book.
Rich Rod Story. A classic "feel good" story of hundreds of thousands of Michigan faithful who rally behind their coach and their team as it develops into a program that dominates NCAA football for two decades. The story begins with an unparalled string of three consecutive Heismans awarded to different Michigan quarterbacks. Christopher Walken plays Jim Tressel's character who falls from grace, abandons hope, and picks up the crack pipe in the face of the Maize and Blue onslaught.
Wait, if Walken is playing JT, does that mean that there will be a scene where JT dances along the sidelines at the 'Shoe?
really be awesome, love how you think.
btw, contrary to popular opinion, birthing a calf is no laughing matter.
thats my cap!
lives out in LA and every couple of months it seems he'll text and say he saw Dicaprio wearing a Michigan hat. Don't know if he's a huge fan but its always cool to see support...GO BLUE!
Actually stands for Malaria. He's just trying to get in good with Bono.
Possible celeb appearance at the Big House?
anything less from Leonardo DiCAPrio?
ROFLROFL
Must have been a Christmas present from his ex, Mrs. Tom Brady.
Dude great link.
Not because I like Ashton but because he is throwing in a fat liper.
a bald spot.
Saw the replay of the Mayweather-Mosley fight, and DiCaprio was there sporting the M cap.
