Can someone tell me what's so bad about 60? Dantonio is 60, miles is 62, and saban is 64. If anything it gives stability to that side of the ball, and let's some of our position coaches develop internally and then we can promote one of them once brown retires.

There is certainly a path.  Our OOC is easy.  Our big rivals will be on the road but will be down some.  If you win the Big Ten you will be in the Playoff.  It's a crapshoot from there.

The team is hungry.  They've sat down to a full course meal, had a few delicious bites, then had it taken away.  They've had a taste and they want more.  They are not satisfied.

It will come down to the last Saturday of the season in Columbus.  Harbaugh was born for this.

To those poo-pooing the hire, and not even being skeptical, but just deflated over it... 1) Come on, this isn't the Brady Hoke Era anymore. 2) Yes, there probably were other candidates that could make it work well at Michigan and the fact Harbaugh went with Brown should tell you all you need to know. 3) Some fans just aren't happy unless they aren't happy.

The most important question: will he, like our previous DC, also wear a hat that has just the logo of our apparel supplier? The Jumpan at least wouldn't look as stupid as that Adidas hat.

This is literally the only interview I can find with him and it's from 6 years ago and has 286 views.

Now search "greg mattison" in youtube and there are a ton of interviews.  Kind of strange.

Thanks for this great video find gord.  I share most others confidence that with everything Coach Harbaugh does with the Michigan football program, he is playing chess, not checkers, and doing it at a very high level to create and develop excellence in this program.

This is intriguing. Harbaugh wasn't lying when he said he was building an army. Oh and please where a Michigan hat...or a visor. Either way I don't care.

Coach Jim Harbaugh hired Coach Don Brown to be DC for the Michigan football team.  Coach H loves Michigan, and is an outstanding head football coach who is going to give his all to everything he does for the football team including staff hires.  It does not get any better than that.  Very interesting discussion though.

This is an awesome hire! With the class Harbaugh is bringing in, it's almost surreal when thinking about the possibilities when we consider what he did in his first season here. Can't wait to see how Brown improves an already accomplished defense if he's done what he's done with defenses who were crap just a season before he showed up
