#BlueOut for Sparty game?
Attending the Sparty game. Seeing #BlueOut all over twitter, other social media sites. Not seeing anything asking for a #BlueOut on the university's official sports site.
So is this a "thing" for Saturday night, like the maize-out for PSU, or is this some viral thing a few peeps are hoping will gain traction?
#GoBlue

Blue Out Blow Out

The first time it was posted here it was The Maize Rage who posted it on twitter, and a few of the players have also joined in.
EDIT: The Official Michigan Football Twitter account does have a video telling everyone to wear blue.

It’s “unofficially official” it’s not officially marketed by the AD like Maize Outs are (prob for Jordan/sponsorship reasons) but a ton of players, official maize rage social media accounts are saying to do it. The official UMich Football account out a video of Sainristil out with him saying to be loud, proud, and wear blue basically

That video was posted in another thread from earlier today.

At this point it feels like everyone should wear blue.

At M Den today the lady at the register told someone that a lot of the blue hoodies were sold out due to it being a blue out Saturday.
October 27th, 2022 at 10:26 PM ^
WD buying up the hoodies?

You don’t think he has already filled his closet with gear already?
I mean I have 15 season t-shirts that fill one my few allotted dresser drawers.

I'm in strong agreement with the person that said "it's a late October night game, it'll be a "whatever color my coat is - out".
Many will have a blue or dark colored coat but enough to make the effect patchy will not. Guaranteed, being the first real "cold" game of the season.
October 28th, 2022 at 12:30 PM ^
Thats a BS excuse… wear a blue shirt on top of whatever you are wearing to stay warm.

Except that’s not at all the shade of blue UM’s gear is (nor should it be). So it won’t pop at all but ok. We’ll see if maize Pom poms happen and that contrast helps.
October 28th, 2022 at 8:21 AM ^
Who is going to clean up all of those blueberries?
October 28th, 2022 at 8:51 AM ^
It also would looking nothing like this, unless we’re planning to paint everyone’s face/body Blue in the stadium…?
October 28th, 2022 at 5:59 AM ^
Why is the AD being so weird about this? I don't get why they don't just officially call it a blue out if you really want it to happen?
October 28th, 2022 at 8:28 AM ^
Ordered the maize pom poms in June.

BETTER TO ASK FORGIVENESS THAN FOR PERMISSION
MAKE IT A BLUE OUT
October 28th, 2022 at 9:20 AM ^
I hope this is clarified before the game so I know if I should wear my Blue Michigan gear or my Red OSU winter jacket. If they don't announce it how will I decide?
October 28th, 2022 at 12:05 PM ^
I will wear blue. I personally think it’s a dumb idea and we should only do maize outs but I will support it.
reason? The maize pops on screen and it took many years from the first maize out to get more than the student section to get into it. I hate to reverse that progress now.
