What is it about this team that makes it so easy for opponents to make half time adjustments? I guess lack of talent is part of it.

Take care of the little things, shoulder to shoulder on pics and screens, talk defensively, wall up on drives, high hands on shots, don’t get into a track meet with a team that likes to score, value the basketball, don’t let guys who can’t shoot take defended 3-pt shots, don’t let guys who can’t handle the ball try to make plays….there’s a whole host of things a team can do…:it’s called TEACHING AND COACHING. They roll the balls out and NBA style hoops - it’s blatantly obvious.

Apathy is one million times worse than anger. At least anger shows you care.

The game is nearly over and this thread has half of the number of posts than the OP that got flamed for bringing up Loeffler as a potential OC. Apathy at it’s peak, and it’s sadly been earned.

Watched the entire first half, went to do some stuff at halftime and completely forgot about the second half. Probably a good thing. Michigan Basketball 2024, it’s probably best to forget about us!

Howard can go now, he doesn't have it and just isn't the guy.

This team is so poorly constructed and has such bad basketball smarts and that's 100% on Howard.

The fact Will has been on the bench and Juwan is going two bigs for the last ten minutes is all you need to know.  Tschetter shooting like 57% from field sitting on the bench, while team rolls to the end going like 3-13, filled with turnovers, poor defense and insane shot selection…torture.

At this juncture develop Washington and Yaya.   Sit the vets more who really have not produced and refuse to learn, and get the future going now.  May as well get some minutes for young guys at this point.  Season over.

Just finished watching the game on dvr, and omfg, Burnett is f*cking baaaad at basketaball...almost as baaaad as Juwan is at coaching it.

And speaking of Juwan, where's that one guy here that still rabidly defends and swings on Juwan's sack at?

Juwan was an awesome college player, a very good NBA player and apparently a good NBA assistant coach. He is a proud alum. He also appears to be a great husband and father, a good role model to kids from difficult backgrounds and a proud alum of our university. He undoubtedly knows more about basketball than any of us. But despite all of those positive attributes, JUWAN HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COLLEGE HEAD BASKETBALL COACH. Aside from the early Beilein-player led years, his team:

1. Consistently lose close games

2. Are undisciplined

3. Do not hustle

4. Turn the ball over at an alarming rate

5. Exhibit terrible decision making

6. Lack fundamentals

7. Get out rebounded

8. Play putrid defense

9. Lack leadership

10. Have poorly constructed rosters, and

11. Fail to score after critical timeouts.

Add to that Juwan’s personal issues, and I can’t think of a single thing that is positive about Juwan’s tenure since Beilein’s players moved on. Can anyone think of a single positive?
