Bad news on Dorsey

This isn't looking good. The article doesn't mention any reasons why he isn't coming but it seems as though this is something he, and his coaches, have known from the beginning. Sorry for the dong punch

and there's a 0% chance DG enrolls early and JT Turner likely won't qualify and Jeremy Gallon has A LOT of work to do! I'm willing to wait it out and see what happens

Regardless of where he goes, Michigan needs this kid to get eligible. He's a potential game-changer in our defense.

Can't dwell on it. Hopefully the players we have will be good enough to help us win. I wish him the best.

I may be a dickhead, but I DO hope Dorsey makes it in. I'm a believer in giving kids like Dorsey the chances they need to succeed. Football coaches do need to win, but I know they fathom themselves as part Father Flanagan as well as part Vince Lombardi, and I'm all for it. Whatever it takes (within reason) to show a kid that someone cares--after a lifetime where maybe not many people have shown that--and even if it's because he runs fast and catches footballs or dunks, at least give him a shot.

I'm not giving up hope until the fat lady sings. If he doesn't make it, I wish him the best. PS- If he doesn't make it, maybe he can donate his dreads to the cause.

I heard Sam Webb this morning while driving and what Sam had to say makes me pessimistic about Dorsey ever suiting up for M. If I heard correctly, Sam thinks it is not about grades, but something of a personal nature regarding Dorsey. Sam was vague, but not encouraging to my ears.

Parts of that report sound fishy, if Dorsey and his school knew he wouldn't qualify, then RichRod and Michigan must have known (i.e. what his grades and test scores were). Why sign someone with such a controversial background if you know they won't qualify? RichRod would have to be a masochist at the Buzzcut level (anyone remember him from Beavis and Butthead "KICK ME IN THE JIMMY!") From watching his press conferences he doesn't seem to enjoy media inflicted misery, why subject yourself to it if there is no possible gain?
