Until he wins a title I imagine Buckeyes would reserve the middle spot for Tressel.

After all, he was sacrificed for the program's many sins.

12/06/2013 - 4:55pm Familiar

"Why these people can't let go and do something else, I don't know. They're locked in a prison of their own devising, being miserable about the state of the blog while they make it worse by constantly complaining about it."

You (Brian) described your relationship with Michigan Football almost identically before the Ohio State game.  Interesting (but probably meaningless) parallel,

11/25/2013 - 1:15pm Politely Declines

Though the Bear Jew is world reknowned for his toughness and dietary ingenuity (prepare for lots of salmon and berries o-line!) his off-season conditioning program of hibernation has yet to produce optimal results in strength gains.

The fact he would refuse to coach on Shabbat might also be an issue since The Game is still scheduled for Saturday before sundown.

Despite his limitations, he would most likely maul the Free Press press corps at his first presser . . . only if they're kosher though.

He at least merits an interview.

11/16/2013 - 8:43pm I think I need help

I'm so numb, I didn't feel anything. I'd hoped the win would bring back that loving feeling. Nope. Nothing.

09/17/2013 - 9:08pm Correct!

Those of you with DirecTV (myself included) will not be able to use ESPN3 to watch the game.

Of course if DTV and ESPN recently struck a deal that someone wants to point out, I'll stand (happily) corrected.

07/31/2013 - 12:45pm E3W

More like Every Three Weekly.

03/28/2013 - 2:36pm I wouldn't think so

When Nike was in the picture they sold Tom Brady Orange Bowl throwbacks (with Brady on the back) and I bought (pre-scandal) a 1989 Rumeal Robinson throwback with the name on the back. Now I wish I could remove his name from the jersey . . .

04/22/2012 - 9:33pm Why I'm afraid

First he's crazy, you can't guard against that. Second, maybe of equal importance, I believe he is a former golden gloves champion. Two great reasons in my opinion to stay far out of his way.

04/16/2012 - 3:36pm Wow

15 years gone and he STILL has great abs.

The whole thing is a bit strange.  When Dre left Death Row the relations between he and Tupac were less than ideal to put it mildly. . . Odd to read that Dre was the driving force behind this, strange how death/time changes feelings (no judgment).

03/11/2012 - 8:15pm Thanks

but I hope the Spartans lose in the first round and Izzo weeps like a willow.

03/01/2012 - 7:14pm Music Industry

I left the practice of law to work in the music industry (on the business side), which had always been my goal.  Night and day in terms of happiness.

03/01/2012 - 3:56pm Thanks for noticing

Weirdest thing happened, I got a job I actually like/love and suddenly I no longer spend all day on mgoblog.

03/01/2012 - 2:55pm Remove the Curse

Don't curse my birthday.

10/31/2011 - 4:08pm Someone frogot to tell Brian

that Kovacs rubbed dirt on his injured knee; the ultimate Gritty McGritterson cure.

10/19/2011 - 10:35pm Signs for next year

Over under on the number of "Tom" signs next year in Ann Arbor (do we need Jamie Mac to make it official)?  By that time any Tom reference would have to be a 1%, no?

10/19/2011 - 4:49pm Shameful

How could they hand down a punishment without reviewing all the different angles? As MSU is proving, it will take at least a few weeks to glean anything from rather obvious replays.

06/12/2011 - 6:23pm posted from iPhone
05/30/2011 - 11:28pm Don't enter the raffle

Well, unless you're a *5 recruit.

12/03/2010 - 12:33pm If Harbaugh is the man

the current timetable makes sense.  I can imagine a situation where Harbaugh wants to finish this special season with Stanford and not leave before the bowl game and DB doesn't want to fire RR and leave the program in limbo for a month with people speculating "WHY HAVEN'T WE HIRED ANYONE YET?! WHAT ARE THEY DOING?! WHY IS HARBAUGH STILL IN CALIFORNIA?!"  DB's actions, to me, say the decision has been made and Rich Rod will be let go but he can't announce the new coach until early Jan. and rather not leave an empty void at the top for a month.

11/22/2010 - 5:07pm Good reference

sadly I missed it.  As you were.

11/22/2010 - 4:19pm You think

that pimp hand is let going to let you stay the night?  Hell no! You won't get any cuddling either and you'll like it!

11/19/2010 - 12:44pm Head Injuries

are different.  You don't tough out a concussion like you might an ankle sprain.  As someone who suffered a few concussions in a short period of time that left me unable to read or think clearly for months, I can tell you that you only go back when you're ready to go full-bore.  Limited action can still have wide-spread negtive effects such as exacerbating current symptoms or causing even more concussions if you aren't fully healed from the previous incident.  With concussions you're either ready to go or you aren't, there is no middle ground.

11/11/2010 - 11:42am EMF agrees

11/09/2010 - 11:48am Wow

he really must have enjoyed that trip to Boise last weekend.

11/04/2010 - 11:31am If everyone

contributed their two cents to Beveled Guilt Brian could afford to personally pay the new defensive staff's buyouts.

11/03/2010 - 3:02pm Viagra

Asked JoePa is he uses viagra to look at cheerleaders.

10/31/2010 - 4:13pm C'mon guys

that is neither hear nor their.

10/30/2010 - 7:51pm Lol Robert Smith

Just said the cupboard was bare for Brian Kelley when he took over and they need to recruit better athletes.

10/25/2010 - 6:14pm Oh no

Now all of our offensive players are missing assignments, quick take it off, take it off!

10/21/2010 - 10:47am Wojo > Stoney

I've always thought so, but hearing Stoney w/o Wojo on 97.1 is BRUTAL, Wojo carried that show.  If we could only get Jamie Samuelsson and Wojo together on a show . . .

10/20/2010 - 1:04pm Do one

eye with those little plastic swords they sometimes put in fancy drinks and the other with the tooth-pick anchored umbrella they put in fruity (as in fruit flavored) drinks.  No reason you shuoldn't gouge with style.

10/18/2010 - 5:43pm Never too early

for concussions!

10/18/2010 - 11:42am #1?

While I appreciate his enthusiasm, I think his blogpoll will be an extreme outlier.  Most others didn't even have Michigan ranked.

Oh, this was a recruiting post?  Then #1 is absolutely appropriate.

10/16/2010 - 4:13pm Because

Adidas only makes Michigan clothing in highlighter yellow?

10/13/2010 - 11:16am Love that Dhani Shirt; Where is the Bo shirt?

A week or so ago I saw the return of the Bo shirt, now it is gone again.  I assumed that the shirt's return signaled that UP gained the necessary licensing to print and sell the shirt but now the  shirt is missing again.  Did I miss the post explaining the removal? Maybe it is just sold out?  I've now missed out twice on ordering this shirt! I won't miss a third time.

10/12/2010 - 6:13pm More like

Play Doh and SoCrates Johnson.

10/12/2010 - 12:53pm That's Amazing!!!

Berkley beat somebody, and damn, they've started 7-0.  They've come a long way since I was there.  I'm sorry it came at Mr. Conway's expense but hot damn!  If you read the article, says Terell Porter scored 7 TDs, I wonder if he is a D-I prospect.

10/11/2010 - 11:52am Nervous to venture back here?

Where else can you go after a Michigan disaster?  This is like a shelter for battered fans.  We'll take you in when you have nowhere else to go.   The national MSM is fickle, the local media has gone green and white, just when you think you have no more options . . . MGoblog will nurse you back to health.

10/10/2010 - 11:24am What was he looking at?

On one of the long Spartan touchdown runs a gaping hole opened and the running back ran through it. Instead of filling that hole, Ezeh ran into a blocker on the outside. Granted I saw this on fan vision and I'm not a football strategist but I couldn't figure out what the heck he was doing. If that TD isn't on him, I hope someone with x and o knowledge will explain.

10/10/2010 - 11:13am Boom!

And when the defense is bad next year (I don't see our LB play improving) we'll all point to the decimated defense post. At that point RR's first recruiting class will be seniors. If you can't trend upward within a full college cycle that is on the coach. At some point Brandon will have to judge where things are heading. This board seems to think it is too early to make significant changes based on this team's defensive performance (and that of the last 3 years). Then when can such evaluation be fairly made? Decimated Defense was a great diary but it's shelf life is not infinite. Read Genuinely Sarcastic's latest post, I echo that sentiment 100%.

10/10/2010 - 8:03am 3 years

And RR still can't field a team that beats MSU, and next year in EL doesn't look promising (our defense will still be bad). There are no positives. If the defense showed any signs of improvement i could understand the board's optimism but right now I wish Rich was our offensive coordinator, not the head coach.

10/09/2010 - 11:47pm Held?

34 points allowed is not an achievement, nor is 536 yards against. If this is the Michigan standard it is no wonder we're getting punked by MSU. The D has gone from bad in 08 to terrible in '09 to, how is this possible, worse in 10.

10/06/2010 - 12:57pm A First

I think this is the first time I've seen someone claim "First" on this site, hopefully it is also the last.

10/06/2010 - 12:30pm Not that it matters but . . .

did you go to Michigan for school?  That whole article was stupid, but I thought it odd to assume you didn't attend U of M b/c you dress up for games.

10/06/2010 - 12:27pm I'm not so sure Ann Arbor is for you

you'd do better in Ypsi, I just heard crimes in Ann Arbor are down this year, there would be very little to report.

10/06/2010 - 12:09pm I think this shows the intelligence of the population in general

An individual choosing between two programs, assuming that individual has no formal affiliation to either program, is more lkely to pick Michigan than Michigan State.  This gives me hope for our planet.

I never understood those that rooted for Sparty from a young age, do they not have goals, dreams, aspirations?  Dream big young man/woman!  Sure, MSU will always be there for you if you fail, but don't settle!

10/06/2010 - 11:49am Once

you realize the snozzberries taste like snozzberries you'll calm down.

10/06/2010 - 11:48am More fun for who? (should that be whom?)

Dee, quit playing games with my heart and I'll stop quoting the Backstreet Boys.

10/06/2010 - 11:37am "Pick your poison"

When Dee said with him and Denard in the same backfield defenses would have to pick their poison, I never thought he'd pick the poison.
