I see online that Morgan is only 1-2 for the night.  Has he been shutdown by the Wisconsin interior D?  Sorry, I have no BTN and a mac.

off the ball only happens on Wiscy's offensive end. Of course, Michigan settling for trey after trye really takes away much of the opportunity for contact in the lane.

and Smotryz, but it's kinda nuts how quickly they gun from outside.  They catch and shoot almost immediately nearly every time they come in off the bench, usually with a guy in their face

For the first time in awhile, the offense got really bogged down when Morris was dribbling all over the court. When he was out in the 1st half, the offense had a good rhythm to it, with good passing and good cuts.

I know he is going to carry and run the team, but tonight he dribbled too much; Wiscy has a very good man with excellent help principles.

ok... we're 4 years in to Beilein's tenure and ..... this is starting to look a lot like Tommy Amaker's stint.  I keep hearing how young we are and wait until these guys are older. I will be honest I have watched a lot of basketball and I don't see this team competing for an NCAA bid this year or next.  They lack an ability to play shut down defense, shooting will come and go, but you have to be able to get stops, kind of like football.

he was surprised or caught off guard by how "physical" the league is after losing games that should have been wins.   C'mon, 3rd year here and surprised by the toughness.  I think we are in for disappointment.  He tries to win OOC games get at least a .500 in conference make it to the ncaa tourney, not building a team to win in the B10.

Dont take this the wrong way, but where have you been?  This team was supposed to win 10 games this year, and they did that a couple weeks ago.  If you're expecting a tournament bid this year, yeah, you're going to be disappointed.  But with the talent Michigan has on the floor...its amazing they were even in this game.  Wisconsin doesn't lose at home.

It is acceptable because Beilein has fired his coaching staff and hired recruiters.  It is acceptable because the practice facility starts to look more like a building and less like an archeological excavation every day.  It is acceptable because a game changer is coming in next year, and no one is leaving.  It is acceptible because there is a clear path to success.

Brundidge will put this team over the top?  Call me skeptical.  If Beilein can't win next year, and by win I mean a winning record in the big ten and an NCAA berth, then he should be shown the exit.  I don't understand why we are so patient with basketball, and so unbelievably impatient with football.  Basketball did have as much if not more tradition than MSU up until Izzo.

If Rich Rodriguez had taken two walkons, two 12 year old white kids from Indiana, and a couple of kids from Detroit and beaten Duke as I stared up at the scoreboard in disbelief, I suppose I would be in Rodriguez's corner too.  How many games in RR's tenure did you go to, and you didn't want to leave the stadium because it meant the magical moment was over?  There have been a couple under Amaker I'll grant you.  Several under Lloyd.  How many under Rodriguez?

If you haven't noticed, the Big House is kind of a nice place and the Glick practice facility is kind of awesome too. The basketball team has had to deal with the hole that is Crisler and absolutely no practice facility for years now. Its kinda hard to recruit when your facilities suck worse than just about everyone else at your level. Now that the player development center is being built, the team is young and actually has post players, and new recruits are coming in the future is only positive.

I don't like their offense, as they simply run to spots without setting screens and rely entirely way too much on the 3, but they do play defense. They run their offense 30 feet from the basket for the first :20 of the shot clock

They are in the top 20 in scoring defense right now. Their length is an issue and little help in the post will be a problem in the B1G.

NIT this year, but if you recall, they have already been to the dance in JB's tenure.

Amaker's second year, at 17-13, had a slight chance of getting into the NCAA tourney (you could cite his 10-6 record in the B1G but you have no basis for them making the NCAA). Maybe the NIT.

His best year, record-wise, was his 3rd year and they won the NIT.

Lots of under achieving there. NIT 3 of 6 years.

how a team that returns every player and adds two top 100 freshman will improve very much either. Yeah, no improvement in these guys.... /s

Seriously, are you being purposefully ignorant? How much better could their D have been to this point, considering the age of the team? Even if their defense WAS bad, all these young players will develop on that end of the floor too.

Ok guy you go and take the worst facilities in the big ten and find a better coach than beilein to take this team forward. I'll let you know when things are acceptable.

The man had an a great, tournament year, followed by an off year, followed by a total revamp of the program, and now we're back on the up and up.
