happy birthday Shoelace!
I just happened to notice while browsing the roster the other day at mgoblue.com that today is our favorite dilithium-infused MgoQB's birthday. He turns all of 20 today. Here's to a HEALTHY and happy year for Denard! Also, he no longer has a height listed. Odd. I guess dilithium is too hard to measure.

You are late to the party. We have been celebrating Denards 20th birthday for 3 days now!

Kinda makes my birthday tomorrow seem so irrelevant.

If you find a way to make me cry (due to pure happiness) every Saturday, I will start a thread for your birthday.

in his time for a few thousand years. Don't you know anything about special relativity?
September 22nd, 2010 at 9:06 AM ^
twenty for a few thousand years? How many of those years is he eligible.
September 22nd, 2010 at 2:44 PM ^
Only he knows. Unfortunately, from our perspective it's four years no matter what.

Every once in a while when you get reminded that these "kids" out there are still teenagers sometimes.

Well I'll be damned.... Learn something new every day.

shared a birthday with Shoelace, mine is tomorrow

My present to you is an up vote. Don't spend it all in one place!
September 22nd, 2010 at 9:35 AM ^
Yeah, if he wasn't so damn fast you would have shared a birthday with him. Although I guess if that were the case you wouldn't be as excited about it.

HA HA HAAAAAAAA.... I'm the idiot that screwed this up and started "celebrating" Monday...
Happy Birthday, DR.

...and those beer steins are pretty large too.
Seriously though, that blonde in the foreground is pretty freakin' sweet!

a lot like Elisha Cuthbert.

In late August, we were still debating Tate vs. Denard. He went from obscure freshman backup to rock star, Heisman trophy contender (and that pose photo vs ND!!!!!) and everybody's favorite player.......what ride.
And we are to believe he has no cable and rarely goes on the Internet?

Hope it's an awesome day for Denard, he deserves to have a great birthday.

My wife isn't much of a football fan but she was in the room when I was watching the Erin Andrews feature on D-Rob, and our convo went something like this...
Wife: "Is that that Shoelace guy?"
Me: "Yup."
[highlight of 87-yard TD run plays]
Wife: "Jeez. He looks incredibly fast."
Me: "Yup."
Wife: "He looks young too. How old is he?"
Me: "Turns 20 next week."
Wife: "My God I feel old."
Me: "Yup."

It seems fitting that Denard was born on a college football Saturday. One of my subscribers pointed out that we destoryed UCLA the day Denard was born.

First play. Foul. Horse collar tackle. Number 3, Defense. Yards will be assessed to the end of the run. First down!
Oh... wait. This was 1990.

Denard doesn't celebrate birthdays, birthdays celebrate Denard.
Happy 20th my man

Finding out I share a birthday with DRob is the best gift I could have asked for!
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:13 PM ^
He has done a whale of a job. Love how he carries himself and his focus on the team first.
Happy Birthday to Denard.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:41 PM ^
Because of relativity, Denard isn't 20 yet. To us, he's 20, but he's really only like 19.99999998
