Harbaugh's Lef…

After his performance in the Orange Bowl, after Jake Butt went down, I really thought he was poised to have a big year last year but he tumbled down the depth chart and never really took advantage of the limited playing time he got. Hope he has a solid year at Cal.

It is currently in the low 50s with a light wind in Berkeley right now, having just checked the weather.

*looks outside in Metro Detroit*

Can he send the weather here when he gets there?

In all seriousness, besk of luck to him.

Although Bunting was more of your prototype, i.e., built to put on more weight, become nasty blocker, etc., I believe what Gentry - think he'll become special - and Eubanks bring will more than offset our loss there with the athleticism. This should both keep the d backfield deeper and their speed makes a dangerous receiving corp even more dangerous. One thing I've noticed watching ball around the country is that TEs of this mold are becoming more and more popular. Although we only saw a glimpse of what Gentry can become, all of us can close our eyes and still see him in the air, taking the ball away from the smaller db. Good hops normally accompanies outstanding speed.

And of course, Cal, by just getting Bunting is going to improve their TE position.

I think we all are aware of what we need to come close to meeting aspirations and always the eternal optimist, I think if that OL stays healthy - Yeah, it's improved - we're going to be a much happier group of fans this season.

Good Luck Ian and hope you make the league for years to come.
