SWAP: Parking at Staples Center?
There are 300 level Stubhub tickets for near $100 each. You pick them up at a hotel two blocks from Staples starting at 10AM tomorrow. Just make sure to leave plenty of time, the pickup lines could be up to an hour long, so I wouldn't want to show up later than 4:00PM (5:50PM tipoff).
There are also 200 level tickets for about $150, much better seats. Michigan's official fans are in the corner near 118-117. I see some in 215 for $140.
EDIT: Sorry, thought you said under $150 each, not total. Honestly, that will be really hard to find I think.

Awesome. I've taken my older kids to occasional Michigan games out this way (Minnesota) and it's a great experience. You don't need to drop the biggest amount of money on the best stuff, just go and have a good time regardless of result. A rare opportunity when they're out west.
Give yourself more time than you think you need--it's time together anyway. Take pics. Have a great time.
I've been tracking all day and it has been going up. I think it'll keep going up, so if you think you'll end up going, I'd bite now.
300 level was $80 this morning and now it's up to $100. Remaining Quantity is getting pretty low.
Indeed!
One of the Convention Center Halls, preferably the West Hall. Just go EARLY! Was really hard to find a spot yesterday and I arrived at 3PM for the 4:37PM tipoff.
At this stage, Stubhub seems to be the only option. Scalpers are notoriously unreliable around Staples Center.
There is a pickup two blocks from Staples at a hotel, starting at 10AM, but the lines will be very long in the 2 hours before tip.
Currently, 300 level is going for about $100, 200 level about $150 baseline, $250+ sideline, 100 level about $200 baseline, $300+ sideline.
All of the seats in Staples in the 100-200 level are great, even in the baseline area. 300 level is really high up, but you can see and it's nice because there are only about 10 rows in most 300 level sections so you're not packed up there. Just depends on your preference/willingness to pay. It is a steeper 300 level than most arenas, just FYI.

Awesome!!! So exciting! Tom's Urban is a bar right by Staples Center (NE Corner) where the Michigan Alumni Organization is gathering starting at 1:30PM.
Parking is probably easiest in the convention center (probably the West Hall), but there are lots of options. Just get there early because most garages have very few, if only one, floors so it's hard to find spots within the garage.
Also keep in mind when other events happen downtown. Depending on where you are coming from and when, events like the #marchforourlives may impact you

Fortunately, events at the convention center shouldn't affect us much. See you there!! Go Blue!!
can any of those be bought in advance?
but I was thinking maybe find a public garage a mile or two away and then take a Lyft ride to the arena? The parking passes on Stubhub are anywhere for 30 plus fees to well over 100 depending on how close you are-- seems like it would be cheaper to find a satellite location. Of course, getting a ride back to the garage after the game could be a total mess.
You don't need to buy in advance. $20 day of. Do not Lyft in unless you're planning on staying for a while after the game. Picking up an Uber or Lyft looked like a nightmare. I saw a ton of people waiting in a queue and they looked miserable, very hard for drivers to get to you.
Literaly just created an account to help out, long time fan of the site, bigger fan of the team. I live in Cali and used to work DTLA. There's a Target Garage (between 7th st. and Figueroa) that lets you park for a max of $6 all day on the weekends (and after 4pm on weekdays) with a validation at target or any of the other restaurants in the 7th & Fig shopping area. This place is 3 blocks from Staple Center (5-7min walk). You don't even have to buy anything from target, you self validate at the end of each register. I used to work at Morton's Steakhouse (left 4 weeks ago for an egineering job, finally graduated) and would park here everyday, its by far the cheapest rate you'll find in DTLA. This isn't a sketchy loophole in the system, just an incentive get people to shop/eat in this area. Check out the website below. *****HERES THE KEY INFORMATION****, you're supposed to park on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd levels, however I honestly believe you can park anywhere (I only parked on the 4th level to get out faster, and there are around 12 levels), just make sure to pay for your ticket on the 1st level. You'll also want to enter the shopping area on the 1st level as well, as it's the easiest way to get to target. Don't forget to get it validated and don't lose your ticket or it's like $35. Not sure how long you can keep your vechile in the garage before the new day starts, but I've had my car there till 2:45 am many times with no issue (i'm sure you can find that info on the site) so feel free to check out the city after the game. Good Luck tomorrow and Go Blue!!

The easiest way to go is to take the Metro Rail, in my opinion. The Expo Line takes you right there and you don't have to worry about your car. I live in Mid City. Jump on it for a buck and some change and I'm there.
Last game was amazing!! There were lines and lines of fans in Maize and Blue waiting to get into Staples. I hope it's that way tomorrow as well!
As for pregame meetup, there was a HUGE group of UM Alumni gathering at Tom's Urban sports bar which is directly across the street from Staples. I think that's the plan for tomorrow as well.
Go Blue!
