Our last two recruiting classes were ranked #5 and #8 nationally and heavily relied on players from outside our region. Our 2019 class is off to a tremendous start with the #2 player in the country and several other highly ranked commits.

That doesn't happen without a heavy focus on recruiting, which included hiring a very inexperienced position coach for his prowess in that area, innovative satellite camp strategy and more.

We have one disappointing recruiting class and one disappointing season and people forget everything that came before. Same with playcalling on offense. Harbaugh has always used a collaborative approach. Reading the comments here, you'd think it was a one year experiment.

Right?  Its like people haven't watched Harbaugh anywhere!  At first I cringed at calls for a college OC, then I was diisgusted.  Now, I just get a chuckle out of the chuckle heads that call for Matt Canada or Joe Moorehead type OC's.

Enos will eventually be the OC, so lets hope he works well with Harbaugh.

It's not like cryptic posts on this forum are going to make ESPN, let alone a reputable news organization. Also it's pretty much understood that a coach is always fair game for their alma matter. I.E. what Florida State just did and I could care less. Also, only 8 years, 2010-17, about as long as he was here.

If I was him I would want my employer to know that Michigan was interested in me. Let the raise discussion begin. I mean seriously, that's not the situation you fire someone for, that's the situation you counter offer for.

I feel like we are more focused on hiring coaches with stronger recruiting skills than coaching skills. Harbaugh must be confident in being able to fix the offense with the coaching pieces already in place + Enos.

I've read multiple other posts about the idea of a new OC will fix all these problems that the offense had this year, which is just not true. This is Harbaugh's offense and he will only hire a guy who he feels comfortable running it how HE wants it run. We could hire Oklahoma State's or any other high octane OC from a different school but it won't matter. Harbaugh has final say and will limit this offense. He wants it to do just enough to win. And in this day in age that will just not win games because no lead under 25 or so is safe. Jim can take this team to new heights, or he can really limit this team. Relentlessness and aggressiveness is something I would like to see more out of his actually coaching and decision making. He does it in recruiting, but he plays not to lose too much. But I'm just a high school basketball coach, so neg away.
