Afternoon game thread

Really don't know who to root for in the Penn State-OSU game...for love of god I don't want to see OSU win another big ten title. But Penn State is Penn State. And go wildcats!

When O’Korn was struggling today, my phone was blowing up from my sparty friends in a group chat, enjoying the hell out of it. Michigan sucks! Should’ve kept your mouths shut, cause I’m about to go medieval on their asses!

Michigan wins with Peters bringing new hope for the remainder of the season,Penn State goes down and MSU's luck finally runs out. Overall, pretty good day.

Same shit different season. They always find a way to pull it out. Nothing ever goes wrong for that team and their spoiled fans. Even if we beat them they’ll still win the big ten and got to the title game. But let’s be honest, it’s not happening

PSU.  Made nice throws.  Best I've seen him look.  PSU's only "test" remaining is at MSU next week.  So glad NW won.  Think we will be ahead of Sparty in standings after next week.

Next two weeks MSU has Penn State and OSU. They'll quickly drop back out of the rankings and fall behind Michigan in Big Ten standings.

The real upside here is that with OSU beating PSU and with OSU and PSU about to maul Sparty; Michigan has an opportunity to right things beating OSU at home at the end of November and ruining everything.

Joy.

I fear OSUs defensive line will be just a bit too much for this young Michigan team. I like where Michigan is headed but it would take a lot for them to beat OSU still. Also unfortunately if Michigan beats OSU and both OSU and PSU win out otherwise, OSU still wins the Big Ten. I'd love for Michigan to beat OSU, then the real question would be does a 2 loss Big Ten champion get in this year?

on that roster. He is a great recruiter and a good game manager - which leads to a lot of wins. All the more reason to gnash teeth about their 2018 class so far compared to ours.

OSU: players accepting improper benefits under Tressel for a decade and when he's forced to retire, they have Urban waiting at just the right time after his flame-out with Florida.

MSU: shuttles felons straight from jail to the stadium and gets more dumb-luck than Harry Potter

Penn State: does Awful Thing We Won't Talk About for 2 decades plus and trips onto Joe Moorehead, Godwin, McSorley and a guy who'd be an NFL All-Pro right *now*

It's things like this that really test one's belief in karma

and glad Northwestern won. Also cool to see Iowa State's resurgence. Though I have a feeling this run is shortening Matt Campbell's stay there significantly and the next bigger P5 job opening up has his name written on it (Arkansas? Maybe even Florida?)
