I was very happy to hear that Harbuagh is a fan of Dwight K. Schrute

They definitely have a funny, good natured "O'Doyle Rules" vibe in their family for sure.

It's one thing to talk about tradition. It's another thing to hear it talking in its own voice. Really appreciated this podcast.

be the best one yet. This 1:30 minute episode features great family and football stories plus the wisdom and recollections of Bo via John Falk's memory bank. And for those who think our coach isn't a Bo throwbacik, think again. He acknowledges he wishes Bo were still around to commiserste with about the tesm and a given game situation. He now says that his dad and John Falk fill that missing gap for him.
Also, the coach has a sign above his office with a message that many here should consider adhering to before posting. It says: No Whining.

For anyone who listens to Bill Burr and the Monday Morning Podcast I like the way he does ads, and the way he does Me Undies. For Harbaugh's podcast it seems to cheapen the show. I haven't heard what they're doing with it, if its going to ChadTough then awesome, but oterwise I find it cringe worthy.
Rest of the show is pretty good. Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

My guess would be that it's something Podcast One (or whatever the network is called that hosts the podcast) directed them to do. I have never listened to Bill Burr's podcast (although I think he is generally pretty funny), but I agree that most ad readings on podcasts are pretty bad.

I never thought about it from the standpoint of Podcast One is the group in charge having them read them.

What does Bill Burr do?
Seems like most of the ads here are just read live while recording. Where as most other podcasts I listen to cut to an obviously pre-recorded ad.
I sometimes skip over pre-recorded ones, so I guess I prefer the "live" readings? Or at least don't notice them as much.

to read it like Bill Burr does, it just seems a little weird to me that their reading ads for underware and talking about wanting a pair. I know that I can fastforward or just enjoy the free entertainmnet for what it is.

Pull it up sometime if awful language doesn't bother you. But his ad reads are some of the funniest things I've heard. First time he got Me Undies he just created a really stupid song about it, and just rolls with it.
Goes like "Oh bum bum, Me Undies, Me Undies..no more sweaty balls," then improv from there.

Oh yeah I'm a Bill Burr fan (standup/F is for family, etc), just never listened to his podcast much/the ads.

JT Rogan seems to be still trying to find his voice as a radio personality. I don't mind it really that much. The show has a charming amatuer feel to it that's kinda endearing, IMO.

boy, between the memories of being back at Michigan, having his Dad and Jon Falk around, and being able to do stuff with his kids where he grew up, sounds like he has one foot out the door to Indianapolis.
Or is it Oakland? Can someone ping Jason Whitlock and find out?

Don't Whine.
Well, that takes care of 90 percent of the comments on Mgoblog.
O, I guess that's whining. Sorry.

Lot of laughs and reassuring to know Coach Harbaugh wears the same outfit for sailing "Regattas". Loved the Bo story with Jim in the hospital. Was surprised to see Coach Harbaugh on the Purdue field last week wearing the same outfit he will probably wear for OSU, despite a likely 60-70 degree difference. Should not have been. Time saver.

Man, I could listen to Big Jon tell stories all day.
