Saquan Barkley's last two games against Michigan:

2015: 15 carries, 68 yards, NO TOUCHDOWNS

2016: 15 carries, 59 yards, NO TOUCHDOWNS

But the crowd will be wearing white t-shirts this time so I guess we're fucked.

The lone drawbavk to these primetime games is that I have to wait all day for them, hence I go through the noon and 3:30 slates with some nervous anticipation, but I will be there. Will I be completely sober? Not likely, but I will definitely be there.

With respect to the B10, it's done on a rotating weekly basis after the #1 game selection of the year (OSU@Michigan this year).

“FOX has the No. 1 overall selection of all games for the season every year,” said Mike McComiskey, the Big Ten’s associate commissioner for technology who handles Big Ten football scheduling. “After that, it rotates through the top picks for a while through FOX and ESPN and then into BTN. They do a draft process in the spring where they now have each week of the season. They’re not actually picking games at that point, but they’re taking their slotted draft picks. “There’s 95 games that fall under the Big Ten television contract this year, so they have one through 95 plotted out between the three networks. They’ve got the draft and they’ve drafted out each of those weeks as to who has the first, second, third and beyond picks of those weeks.”

With us in all white. The whiteout, plus there mostly white uniforms and helmets...that’s a lot of white.

Going with my son. Flying into Harrisburg. Plan on 6 hours at Hershey Park then drive up to the game. Any recommendations on restaurants or tailgates with food advice when we arrive! My son (9) wants to visit every B1G stadium before high school graduation. Only Maryland so far (and the Big House of course). We live in FL and the next few years will mean 2 trips a year to make every stadium. I was in Happy Valley 20yrs ago for our dominating performance. Only fitting to see it again this year!

take a look at the exposure Michigan is getting this season. opener against Florida, national broadcast, night game, national broadcast against sparty, night game, national broadcast against ped state. if Wisconsin and Michigan are both sitting with 1 loss or better, that game will have national broadcast. and of course, Ohio state . this is excellent exposure and opportunity for Michigan to be seen by recruits. especially if they can finish with another 10 win season, its huge. great opportunities this year to showcase the direction of the program.

I went to the Whiteout game in 2006, and it was one of the legitimately coolest college football experiences I've had. I know it's cool to hate Penn State, and there's certainly reason to do so, but that's one hell of a fun place to see a game. Absurdly nice fans (almost too nice), that ice cream, cool tailgating scene... I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

My WAG is that the defense will give us a chance to win this game. Whether or not the offense can take advantage is up in the air.

What's everyone so worried about? McSorley is going to look like the Corvette Larry Sellars bought when Michigan is done with him. He will be running for his life like last year. Mark it.

JH, Drevno and Brown will have our guys amped up to play this game.  It'll be a top 6 (likely) matchup when it comes.  I think JH hates Franklin with a passion.  Just my hot take.  And we all know what happens when JH doesn't like the opposing coach.

Who got the Bleach Bit from who?  Penn State fans, media, alums and sickofants in the attempt to wipe away the Sandusky - JoePa hero years or Hillary Rotten Clinton to wipe up her server?  One common theme, whenever I put together JoePa, Sandusky and Hillary Rotten, WIPE is the first thing that comes to mind!!

I think Michigan matches up well with them. They were a pretty good team last year (overrated, perhaps, but still quite good) and Michigan stomped them. Their offensive philosophy seems to play right into the hands of Don Brown's defense.

You can call it overconfidence, but I just think it makes sense. Penn State is going to need a big game from McSorely through the air, and the d-line is going to make that difficullt. I like Michigan's chances here.
