Can't tell if that is what Jackson was trying to do, but damn was that pretty.

watching their offense and the timing, we are just going to need time to develop.
Our line is our biggest weakness and holy shit Lamar is amazing.
If we can use more TE and have smarter rub routes like them....we can be a top-tier program again.

That should have been offside on Louisville, not a TFL.

this year.

Defense?

He'd like to speak with you about the Michigan Defense.

We're actually kinda explosive, it's the finishing that's hard for us.

Football needs a penalty box. Kicking guys out of the game is just too much, IMO.
Send them to the box for 10 game minutes and if they get a 2nd personal foul of any kind...they're done.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:02 PM ^
Let's go with a dunk tank.

No. When a young man gets paralyzed from a broken neck because some d-bag blasts him in the head, a ten minute penalty sort of looks like you might not be taking safety seriously. So no, that is just a bad idea.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:02 PM ^
usc can run the ball.
EDIT: except from the 1/2 yard line. oof.

OSU is sports objectionable, PSU is morally objectionable. There's a difference.

SO MANY TASTY GAMES ON SO HARD TO CHOOSE.

2? maybe 3

Already 3 turnovers on downs today in So Cal. You knew this game would be weird somehow.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:03 PM ^
Jackson is ridiculous, but I guess dodging the entire DL in the backfield is too much even for him.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:07 PM ^
If he had gotten out of that one and picked up the 1st down somehow, we could've stopped the game and awarded the Heisman right there on the spot.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:04 PM ^
Hmm. After watching it a few times I actually think USC barely got to the goal line, but there is no view that can overturn that. Just my gut feeling that if the ball were chipped it would have just knicked the goal line.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:05 PM ^
Lamar holds onto the ball way too long sometimes. That must be why he is sacked so much for someone who is as good a runner as he is.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:10 PM ^
The Louisville OL is terrrrrrrrrible.

Yes, but we could not block the Clemson DL at all.

I doubt we'll ever know.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:11 PM ^
This USC-Texas game is turning out to not be bad.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:16 PM ^
In all seriousness...I'm watching 3 games, Clem/Lville, LSU/Miss St., and USC/Texas and FOUR guys have already been kicked out between the 3 games. That's just silly.
Kick them out for 10 game minutes and the next unsportsman like or targeting and they're done.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:16 PM ^
Texas trying their hardest to let USC blow them out.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:23 PM ^
I find this idea compelling.
But rather than based on game minutes, it should be based on drives.
As in a defensive player has to sit out for 2-3 drives on which he would play on defense.
(this is meant as a response to Mr. Yost above. some weird bug occurring here.)
September 16th, 2017 at 9:25 PM ^
Again. No. The answer is to stop blasting people in the fucking head, not to give second chances to potentially injure someone for life.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:16 PM ^
I just realized that Cinci is losing 3-7 to Miami (NTM) approaching the half. Would have enjoyed an authoritative victory by them.
September 16th, 2017 at 9:18 PM ^
Why isn't Shane Buchele playing for Texas? Still hurt?
September 16th, 2017 at 9:19 PM ^
Where the hell was this Texas defense against Maryland?

USC looking real vulnerable here.
