EDIT: You know what? No. This guy gets enough attention. Not going to further point out the hyprocrisy of weighing what he's saying now versus what he's been saying the past six months all over the internet.

He's a petty little lying twat.

And there it is. "Globalist." The dog whistle term for "Jewish" in the alt-right. If you actually went to Michigan, you might understand that this community isn't going to be super receptive to your bullshit.

You are not an intelligent human. And you're a liar as well. A shameless liar.
You have "stumped" for Dear Leader many times. I honestly feel bad for you, but I loathe you as well.

Look in the mirror sometime if you wish to see someone that is a tool.
Merit matters. Not skin, and not sex.

Honest question: do you think everyone attains their level of success in life, whatever that might be, solely due to merit or lack thereof?
August 15th, 2017 at 4:07 PM ^
Some people are born with silver spoons, or have a hook up. That goes for all races. Do you think hunger strike tool at Mizzou was hurting? His dad makes more in a yr that my parents did in their lifetime...combined.
Racism is racism.
There is no reason to pass over the poor white kid with better accomplishments for a minority due to skin color. It is pure racism. Merit matters.
August 15th, 2017 at 4:25 PM ^
Who's defining the "better accomplishments"? Leaving aside "standardized" testing, if you had two equal candidates except one of them got a 3.25 grade point average at an elite private school, and the other got a 2.75 at a poor public school, how do you decide between the two of them? What makes you think the one with the lower grade point average will excel less at the next level than the other one?
August 15th, 2017 at 4:58 PM ^
Better ace their ACTs or SATs.
What about the poor white kid that hits a 3.5, and the minority comes from money, and has that 2.75? The minority can go ahead of the poor white kid. So just stop. Racism is racism.
August 15th, 2017 at 6:36 PM ^
No, you just stop. Racism is racism, yes. But clueless is clueless, too. And you're clueless.

I'm not sure if you're being willfully ignorant, but not all affirmative action is race-based. Many schools will take into account a wide variety of obstacles that applicants have had to overcome. Some of those factors are socioeconomic. And yes, some of those factors are race-based. Unless you're going to argue that there's no racism, which seems increasingly implausible given this past weekend, that's something that many minorities have to overcome.
Merit matters, but merit can't be measured solely by who went to the best schools or got the best test scores. Affirmative action is a tool designed to help those who are behind catch up. It's a broad tool, and an imperfect one. But in a country where the average black family's wealth is 1/14th of the average white family's wealth, it can still be a valuable tool.

And some schools might admit an applicant if his or her dad donated an enormous sum to that institution. And that wealth and status is often perpetuated for generations.
August 15th, 2017 at 5:00 PM ^
It uses racism to acheive those goals.
