And that's my point.

I feel like you knew what I meant.

NFL is trying it's hardest to be perceiveda leader against domestic violence. Commercials, charity, implementing rules, etc.

Lewis is going to fall. Joe Mixon would be a 1st round pick. Conley is going to fall. I think it was clear what I was talking about when explaining why Lewis is trending down and Lattimore trending up.

The Browns just traded down a few spots with the Texans and will get the Texans first round pick next year. The Browns might on the right track.

Both Cousins and Goroppolo feel like the definition of "replacement-level" QBs once you strip away the teams around them.  I might be wrong, but I'd have rather take a chance on a guy like Watson than hope, I don't know, Josh Rosen figures it out next year and you can draft him.

As a Lions fan (puke), this draft is going as well as one could hope for. A bunch of QBs and other skill positions that we don't need have been taken so there might be some good choices at 21.

It is actually smart strategy. There are a lot of quality defenders, especially in the secondary, but much less depth on offense. If you need offense, you MUST strike early or be left out of the upper tier. You will be able to get defensive starters in the secon and third and even corner starters in the fifth round

Goodell should troll the crowd and walk out right now waving to the crowd. Cheer or Boo? Start pumping everyone up like WWE. Then walk off.

I'm amazed how far Hooker has fallen.  There was talk he'd be a top-5 guy, and right now he might slip into the 20s.

EDIT:  and as I say that, Indy grabs him.

It'll be interesting to see how these OSU secondary players pan out.  I thought both Lattimore and Hooker were great athletes but had issues ID'ing plays and could be put on skates with some misdirection.

WTF MODS!!!! You deleted the Peppers should've stayed thread already?!

I swear, those need to be left. Set the tone. Set an example. Send a message, dammit.

I was beginning to think Detroit should trade up and grab Allen and then select Foster. Taco and Foster would both be great, but Allen and Foster would have given the Lions the best draft of the day.

So happy our guys aren't being picked by the crappy teams. Taco Peppers and Lewis belong on playoff teams, that make smart picks, like the Pats, Steelers, etc.
